This change to vriska’s character is SO FUCKING GOOD AND SETS UP THE DRAMA SO WELL!!! It’s so heart breaking that now tavros’s accident was actually a full accident. I’m so excited to see more!!

This episode is beyond fantastic. The story Tav deserved. The scene where his legs got hacked off is perfect, greatly elevated beyond a two-panel event. I love that the FLARP campaign showed how well Vriska and Tavros could work together, but also exactly why vriska is awful. Also, the class differences have been highlighted very nicely. I think Aradia was very good as well. Also! Great work on all the part of all voice actors! Played their parts exceptionally. It's really hard for me to keep track of "favorite" episodes of HS:AU but this one is up there for sure.

It kind of takes a backseat to all the great Vriska moments, but i also love how this highlights Kanaya's character. A very "doing what's best for you even if you don't like it" type.

It's a very cool idea to change Tavros' paralysis into a geniune mistake/fuckup on Vriska's part. Her geniunely panicking when she realizes that everyone is going to think she did it on purpose is so good. The tgirl experience of knowing that one mistake is enough for people you thought were your friends to completely turn on you 🥲

Ohhh, can I add on? With the Alternia expectation of Vriska being that it was ‘justified’ for her caste or something, she’d reluctantly lean into it as time went on.
