The Waltz may have been the first music (followed closely no doubt by Sabre Dance) of Khachaturian I ever heard well before I even knew who'd composed it. I was only a young kid probably but it's one of those pieces that sticks in the mind. The whole suite is a delight, one of my favourites by the composer. Lovely performance......
