The only other version of this delightful suite I've heard is by Tjeknavorian with the Armenian Philharmonic (ASV). It's therefore a real pleasure to get to listen to this splendid recording by Veronika Dudarova and the Moscow SO. The music is a wonderful piece of exoticism : Khachaturian enhancing the Spanish flavour with a distinctive Armenian spice. Lovely music!
