I'd like to point out that this video is kinda over exaggerated in Sora's case. Disney isn't even remotely interested in any companies outside of the film industry. Plus, KZbinr HMK interviewed Justin Scarpone, VP and General manager of Disney JP at the KH invitational one the topic of Sora for smash, and he said that Disney is not restrictive over Sora's character, just very particular about handling the character outside of Kingdom Hearts, If Nintendo approached them about it they'd have to check with Squate Enix and Tetsuya Nomura first to make sure it's okay with them. to put it in fewer words, Basically Disney lets Square and Nomura do whatever they want with Sora link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eYeaZ4SbnLeYsKc

@@blueblitz283 It makes me sad Terra Branford isn't in Kingdom Hearts at all and FF6 is VERY underappreciated. Cloud may be the most popular in FF but I don't believe he's an icon because people forget the elements that make FF iconic, and I literally mean magic; Fira, Blizarra, Thundara, Graviga and so on and so forth. And I believe Terra has the best story that's way darker than Cloud's. Hell, even the villain is way more insane than Sephiroth. Yet cuz' Cloud is super hot along with Seph, that's all they probably think about and his big ass sword. Lol Idk if that's true but Terra is a magic user and that's why she should be in. I'm glad Sakurai at least considered her but he's afraid people would not recognize her. How do you feel about Terra?

JohnyTheWizKid Before cloud was a thing I was straight up hoping the final fantasy rep would be entirety of the warriors of light from FF1 as a single character lol. The warrior of light would be the leader of the team, and the others could appear via his specials, and smash attacks, with the specials allowing them to stay in screen or be positioned in such a way that you could create the illusion of controlling a “four man team” like In the OG game! I even hoped they would throw in Chocobo or Cactuar in there as taunts! ... So in a really mixed up way, kinda what they did for dragon quest lol. Needless to say I was really satisfied with hero.

JohnyTheWizKid Cloud is absolutely an icon. FF7 was a revolutionary release with music and images that people hold dear, and he’s probably the most recognizable FF protagonist. That being said, I really dont want anymore Square Enix reps (unless its Crono), they always get 2 songs per character and barely anything else.
