I find it hilarious that all the North Indians are complaining about the "accent" as though we South Indians are from another country and as though they spoke English since the first minute of their birth. I am a south Indian. I agree that the accent is comical at best. However, it is not to shame him. The jokes sound so artificial to me. It is unfortunate becuase most of the jokes are funny, provided they are told in Thamizh with a tinge of local touch. In Delhi and Mumbai, the best stand-up comedians such as abhishek upamanyu and kunal kamra are speaking in Hindi. Have a look at how natural they sound with their jokes. I love them. But this video is nothing but a big scene of awkwardnes with a person ashamed to speak his tongue.

Have you guys heard of Kenny Sebastian, he is also a famous stand-up comedian. He belongs to south India and his accent is pretty gud, he even took interviews of famous Hollywood stars.
