Thanks for taking the time to produce the video. Excellent comparison. Really helped me look at which one to purchase. Cheers from Australia.

Not sure if you have a four tire fill up hose but id be curious to see if that time change is greatly different when youre doing all four at the same time

I think it’s quite proportional, spend half the time filling tires for twice the price. If I had to air down/air up at least weekly, every 2-3 days or more frequently, it is definitely worth it. If you’re airing down once a month or less frequently, it may not be worth the expense and you won’t burn out the single barrel pump so fast. Nice video! Thanks!

This... but this is also relative to ARB prices. You can find other pumps out there that are comparable (like Viair) to the ARBs that will be less costly. But again it all comes down to what you are expecting out of the pump. I have a Viair 88p that does a great job of airing up my 285/75r16s but it takes a good 5 minutes per tire and I usually let the pump cool down in between (going from about 15psi to 38psi) so it is all relative. For me, only airing down maybe once a month or every other month for a bit of offroad fun, the cheap 88p was MORE than enough.

I think the double compressor will be less like to burn out on you in the middle of nowhere, less train, less runtime, less heat

Excellent video. I think it's worth the one putting into perspective. If I add time to fill up the air tank and in theory it takes 25 min to air up all tires vs 13 min. I think it's worth it because if I'm pulled over in the heat of the Summer, I would want to get the job done quickly. What is the weight difference ?

Can you use the single for tools? Or is there just not enough juice?
@jimroberds49334 жыл бұрын
I have a single in my 100 and have always wondered how big of a difference there was. Good video. I would have like to see the install of the dual only because it is something I might do one day. Keep the good 100 videos coming
@chowcares4 жыл бұрын
It’s pretty much the same as the single. The wiring is different only due to the extra load of the dual (2 positive wires, 2 fuses, etc).

chowcares enjoy your videos thanks. I did my diffs and transfer case after watching your video. Made my own breathers and run all 3 up into the engine bay. I discarded the original end pieces and made new ones that breath in and out. Can’t figure out how to show you a picture.

I think if you go with a bigger tire like a 40" you would see more benefits 😉
