Finally a proper midrange offering to crush the competition. And I just picked up a 2023 4Runner. These have my name written all over it. My question is: Will the shocks be offered in different valving like nitros? As in comfort, standard and heavy? Is there going to be different part #’s like on the nitros? Thanks!

good question, heavily doubtful on this though

I am looking into this for you and will get back to you shortly

Ok so I spoke to the product manager and his response is below: We offer one all-rounder choice tune for the front of the 4runner and 2 tunes for the rear of the 4runner. The front strut can be adjusted to accomodate accessories or soft/ hardness using the adjustable snap ring anf spring seat, so they are covered

Plans for a 2.5" remote-res "BP64" to compete with the likes of King, Fox, etc?
@adih2367 Жыл бұрын
They already have the BP51 that does that.
@brettfullarton7744 Жыл бұрын
@adih2367 The BP51 is not on the same level as Kings, Fox or other 2.5" diameter piston shock. ARB have obviously realised a market exists for these & seem to suggest a lot of the BP51 technology features in these shocks so it will be interesting to see if they push to the next level
@ShockSurplus Жыл бұрын
@@brettfullarton7744 OME/ARB isn't chasing the desert runners, the BP51 can handle most of that terrain, especially with a set of nice bumpstops to support the large hits. We've ran the BP51 60mph through Johnson Valley without issue, if someone needs something more robust than OME isn't the answer for them and OME doesn't actually care they dont have a product for 0.05% of drivers out there.

Can we just lift the front 2" even we don’t have any heavy add-ons ? What would it be for a 3rd gen Tacoma with the 4000 springs? 2nd? 3rd position clip?

I think it would be best to contact your local dealer / stockist as this is quite a technical request and dealers in your region will be able to provide more accurate information.

How are these positioned against the BP51? Are they supposed to be a higher quality product in comparison?
@TrailRunn4r Жыл бұрын
They are below BP51 and above nitro
@ShockSurplus Жыл бұрын
materials quality wise the same as the bp51, ride quality wise a little different in that it'll feel a little less squishy since no internal bypass - but larger piston, and of course not adjustable. We're going to dive into the comparison with some content soon.

Is the MT64 recalled by ARB ? Is there a design issue ?

I believe so, check with your local dealer on the details though

Why don't you try it on LC70 SERIES? Ford cars are already comfortable as they are.

I have the nitrocharger shocks and like them but want to upgrade to mt64 ones Are the springs from the nitro the same as mt64? Are they compatible?
@ARB4x4Accessories5 ай бұрын
Presuming you have Nitrocharger Sport shocks, The MT64 does use a different spring design.

Are these basically the trail hunter shocks? Making them for older cruisers?
@ARB4x4Accessories Жыл бұрын
The MT64 is quite a bit different to the Trailhunter shock absorber although they look similar. The Trailhunter shock was developed in conjunction with Toyota specifically to suit the new Tacoma where as the MT64 has been in development by us for many years and is built fully in house in our manufacturing facilities for a range of vehicles - maybe even for your older cruisers!

@@ARB4x4Accessories Can you be more specific about the differences (travel, dampening, tech…)? Which of the 2 will perform the best when off roading at high speed ? Trying to decide between a Trailhunter, or a more basic Tacoma trim and then add aftermarket shocks like the MT64.
