It's interesting that a feudal world has a massive monastery on it producing advanced war gear.
@Bluecho43 ай бұрын
First of all, "Feudal" is a way to structure society (serfs owing fealty to lords, who in turn owe fealty to other lords), not a description of tech level. Most of the Imperium is "Feudal" in the sense that worlds are bound by a succession of levels of lordly obligation, with each level having broad power to govern their domain as they see fit. That doesn't mean they aren't technologically advanced...at least, compared to us in Real Life. Second, while the normal citizens of Mancora might live in what might be described as "Medieval" (pre-industrial, agrarian, fight with spears and horses, etc), that doesn't mean there isn't technology present. It's just that such technology and industry are monopolized by the Howling Griffins themselves, for their purposes. The rich and powerful hoard all the "Good Shit" for themselves. Same with Knight Worlds, where you have medieval serfs overseen by lords in big stompy robots.
