You say my comment will be appreciated. I am 70+ year old US citizen in S. Africa. I'm a radio technician thinking of building what would be a unique transmitter capable of being globally heard. High frequency (shortwave) radio is greatly affected by earth's magnetic field as the field affects inbound solar particles. Thank you for your very good presentation. I found it very interesting.

So what is the magnetic field? Electrons flowing out of the inner earth? At the geomagnetic poles there's that circular shape of electrons flowing out up (and down at south pole) there? They're magnetized electrons?

I theorised this also it’s almost like a giant synchronous motor think about it the way a motor spins it draws and elactro magnetic field same way powered or kinetic my theory is the way the earth spins it could most certainly draw an extreme kinetic electromagnetic field and as for the northern magnetic pole shifting places every century or so that can have a similar effect just think instead of the earths spin think about the earths orbit around the sun and our earths axis as we orbit the sun our axis is shifting positions also as the earth is also spinning so on so I suppose the norths mag pole would also shift.

I was just checking my notifcations on the PC and the list contains all of your videos but none is on my watch later playlist cause they never appeared on the phone. That is consistently for every video I saw in the notifications list from you... Could it be because you publish two at once? I don't know. Sometimes I miss other videos from other channels I guess that is for some lack of data coverage on my phone at the time of the publication... or maybe it was in deep sleep or battery saving... That's why now and then I check the list manually... But Arbor scientific vids are consistenly out of my list always. I thought you would like to know.

Scientists know this , but it is actually next to the impossible because of two reasons . 1) Tremendous amount of cost 2) Maintenance 3) Need to make a world conference for this permission 4) Most of the countries are indebt to world bank 5) Hardest part is to ask for labourers for this cuz they're gonna reject this century project.

@@LeviAckerman-bb6zz cost would be the initial problem unless all countries collaborate. Using their own people. The motivation is the result. Free/infinite energy. Question 1 and 2 can be answered simply by bringing up the fact of inmates around the world and surpopulatuon. G7 is made for that. Not that many leaders in the world. And their are alot of alliances. We need each country to focus on their specialty again. Certain countries have material only they access. They can hire local companies and labor force to help. Really if all of earth collaborate it'd be easy. Debt means nothing. It's a social construct to say who's superior or not. If we all focused on the magnetic project their would not be need for money with infinite energy.

I have read that the magnetic effect is from earth's core being so high in iron, & I've guessed that mayb our larger planetoid stealing some from a smaller incompletely formed moon very close to earth at one point. Also the motion of the crust spinning at a diff't speed than the iron core creating an ever·present static charge.

If migratory animals apparently rely on such fields how would a reversal _not_ impact life? Species like Geese that fly south suddenly get confused and either fly elsewhere or don't fly down at all. They even lose orientation (which anyone living in Canada would have noticed in the recent decade). Whales start beaching themselves in abnormally large quantities (again a phenomenon witnessed in recent decades). This effects ecosystems as mass deaths of animals will have a chain reaction.

It said this isn' something that happens overnight. If this is a gradual reversal over 100s of yeas, i can imagine birds would be able to adapt to the slight deviation over years
@ShinyUmbra
@ShinyUmbra Жыл бұрын
Since I have been studiying this field for a project, the reversal can take up to 10000 years. The planter earth has undergone more then 160 reversals that are known, yes it would impact life, but ther are no current answer on how hard the impact would hit, since so many reversals have happened and still there is such an ecologilal diversity. Either way, it could be bad, but we have no way to know Oh and when the reversal happens, it it theorised that the magnetic field will weaken significally, but it would still protect this planet, so maybe, just maybe the impact on natural life wont be as shoscking as we think. And btw, if you are interested in this topic, i reccomend "North pole, South pole" a book by Gillian Turner, Its really interesting

Old ways become obselete and new developments takes over the people to be governed with. New visions for life and societies runs through the people until it reaches a plateau like what's being experienced now, the plateau part.

It could be, what a lot of these videos unfortunately skip is how the dating is done. They're observing stone and carbon dating and depending on where they do this and how they do this there could be all kinds of results.

I’m wondering why a small peice of metal from a compass is attracted yet a small peice of metal does not react otherwise

Is it because they use positive and negative in the compass?

Compasses are constructed in such a way that the piece of metal is both magnetised and can spin freely. A normal piece of metal cannot align since it is not magnetised and cannot overcome friction

The "metal " is iron. Aluminium, copper, lead, brass, bronze, tin, gold, silver... etc. are not magnetic. Iron,(and steel), nickel and cobalt are magnetic as are iron-nickel alloys. There are non-metals which are magnetic too like the rare earth oxides in neodymium magnets.

@@karhukivi thank you George. Because our Central Nervous Systems are full of electrons it is now being said that people who have sustained any type of nueropathic damage from the Spinal Nerves may find pain relief by simply doing alot of "Grounding" or "Earthing" - walking alot barefooted etc. Your opinion? Perhaps we need to walk on Nickle or Cobalt? Where would someone find neodymium magnets?
@karhukivi
@karhukivi 3 жыл бұрын
@@a.larson2125 The nervous system is also full of positive ions, e.g. sodium, Calcium and potassium, so electrically neutral. Walking around can be both therapeutic and reduce pain or alternatively the impacts of the feet on the ground can aggravate other types of joint and nerve injuries, it all depends on what is causing the pain. I know some people who suffer pain from sciatica but the treatments are not very effective, so everybody has to find out (the hard way) what works for them. Regarding magnets, there is no evidence for any benefit from low strength magnetic fields e.g. bracelets with magnets, but if it makes a person feel better then go for it. The magnetic field in an MRI scan is very strong (1.5 Tesla typically), far greater than the Earth's field (0.06 Tesla), yet patients do not notice anything unusual in them. The neodymium magnets are everywhere these days and can be bought on the net usually as little cubes or disks. Keeping active is probably the best way to reduce pain if at all possible.
