I've been a woodworker for over 40 years. Most hand held tool have a learning curve just like stationary tool and reading really is fundamental and essential in most cases. I've used the older version and the newer version. They do require practice before attempting an actual project. And for the record one of my finish creations is actually in a museum. Practice makes perfect but reading is essential.

You need to use this tool ,and get the field of it, as well what you want it to do first, I have one, and I too had to learn how to use it, I have had mine for 3 years and still runs fine.

Jordy, about 5 years ago I started watching craigslist and the local adds. When someone lost a basswood tree and needed it removed I took the chainsaws, truck and trailer and then processed into billets large enough to carve the large loon. I have pulled three huge trees since then. I dry it in an outside shed pulling 8-10 pieces into the studio to sit in the rafters pulling them down as needed.. looking forward to the shout-out. If you ever feel the need to use snail mail to contact me: studioonthelake88@gmail.com. I hope to get several carvers talking back and forth kind of like this old tony, Abom, and the machinists do. Thanks for an honest review! I’ve found I’ve done a few negative reviews and yes the company has never wanted to deal with me but that’s just a sign of a bad company. If he curios to know how you gone on with this 1 year later?

Thanks for the comment. I really didn't use it after the review...very rarely. It burned in the studio fire and needless to say I will not be replacing it. Ben

7.56 was your undoing. Not reading the manual first. Maybe read it then go back to the Arbortech website for a bit more information.
