About the wonderswan game's flashing, the Wonderswan screen blurred a bit between frames just like the game boys, so instead of flashing it'd look more like a transparent overlay. This was a somewhat common technique in gameboy games too.

I'm currently recording it slowly, 5-10 minutes at a time, as it's about 40 minutes. I hope to have all three of those videos out in March! The anime was produced by BeeTrain, the same studio that animated .hack roots (which I still do not understand to this day because it is such a mess story telling wise). And while I agree that the anime has plenty of weak points, I still enjoyed it a lot. Mostly because I like the games, and the anime has a lot of recognizable characters and scenes, while also expanding on some ideas that weren't in the games. But outside of that, I think most people who don't know the games probably also wouldn't enjoy the anime. 🤷♂️

I played it a while back and it felt exactly the same. All of my complaints were more or less the same, it just had more Digimon. I don't feel it did enough to justify a new video, it'd either be really short, or re-treading things I've already said, so I just didn't do one.

@@Caspicum what? The amount of things you can do in that game is almost the triple of the original, with each sidequest being connected to another in the later future that you can't get unimpressed For example, there's one digimon in the city that if you talk to, and give it food, he'll turn into a geckomon, then you'll find him in the railroad plains, asking for more food, after losing almost every penny in my bank account, he'll turn into a shogun geckomon, asking for even more food, after questioning if I should or not kill him, he'll finally be satisfied and go back into the city, opening a hotel that you can invite digimons into, with that you'll get a certain amount of money every 5 days, and alongside with that, you'll get access to 3 more digimons that can expand the place even more, and another digimon entirely disconnected to that that can give you something to let the place even better, and all of that because I talked to one digimon, there's tons of examples like that that I could give So at least for me, no, it's not even close to the same game for me Not only all of that, but the plot itself is expanded in 2 additional campaigns, with the involvement of the seven demon lords, and the 13 royal knights

I liked anime when I was younger, I just don't anymore. It's not engaging to me. My first burnout was trying to watch One Piece like 10 years ago, and the second was while I was watching Space Dandy and it took me 2 years to watch one season. That said, I rewatch Dokuro chan once a year because that's funny af and Shimoneta too, but idk anime as a concept doesn't keep my attention. I read manga from time to time, but even that dropped off after I read fist of the north star and Berserk tbh
@ydnaivi94352 жыл бұрын
@@Caspicum yeah, i kind of understand that sentiment. when you're not updated with this kind of stuff and like no one around you talking about it, that definitely would lose my attention too. i assume this was the case. i dont know what you sought when you watched anime, but for me, the most is definitely the animation. there is that particular style on japanese animation or sakuga that hardly can be found on most western cartoons for which i adore so much because they look very cool. and ofc, aside from that, japanese/anime storytelling or just its story in general often times works for me. when its done right, there is just right amount of plot and characterization for story to works nicely. which is need a lot less time to consume than most live action series. aside from that, i cant really say much. so yeah, with my awareness i stop here. but hey, atleast you still playing jrpg. thats a good thing, i guess. ^_^
