ARC | Timecard | Help Me Decide!

Hello again friends!
I got a video of the green card (timecard) I referenced in my last video to hopefully help it make sense.
Also! Help with my current dilemma - ARC or RCA?! Weigh in with your thoughts.

If the gates are down and no train, there is a number on the signal mast you can call to let the railroad know, sometimes the gates get stuck down

You said the RCA works "every day". Do you literally mean every single day or 6 or 5 days a week?

6-7 days. It was the same for CCAs too. I was lucky to get one day off and it was never a Monday or a weekend. Thanks for watching!

Do ARCs put in OT? LIke if you working on a Sunday and you go past 8 hours? Also does holiday pay apply when working holidays?

For the ARC position is it possible to work 2 days? For example Saturday & Sunday.

I think it’s possible if the need is there, but you might need to go to RCA academy for that. RCA academy is 3 days. So far I’ve only worked on Sundays.

What Job would you do with the lottery? Are you making Christmas videos? You disappeared lol

I knoooow. 😭 I haven’t had time to breathe but I’ve been wanting to make videos. I fill out lottery slips for a company and get paid hourly to do it. It’s remote work. I only do mega millions and powerball. Been doing it since February.

Tough decision. I was a tiny bit relieved when they let us go for “lack of mail,” because I had a life again. If you take the RCA position, you will have no life because working all the time. However, you will get health insurance and can put money towards your retirement.

Thank you for weighing in on this! I feel like I’m leaning more towards just sticking with what I got. I have a couple days to decide still.

Good decision. More flexible and if in the future you want to switch, the RCA position will come up again.
