What a fascinating sense of perspective to have for a run-n' gun! I am grateful to Hamster for bringing these unique kinds of arcade games to consoles.

Well, I'm not grateful for any crappy games released on Arcade Archives! I asked for any good Namco classic, and then they gave me this?!

Riot is badass. Fans of Cabal, NAM-1975, Wild Guns should not pass this up. This game has no right to be obscure.

Yup.I.was just thinking that. Wild Guns is ridiculously hard though. This looks playable

@@Shinobi33 NAM-1975 is was so far ahead of the competition in 1990 that it looks and sounds far better than this 1992 release, and with spoken voice intermissions. If anyone hasn't played NAM on the Neo-Geo, and likes this sort of gallery shooter game, I highly urge you to play it!

But in Riot, it's an all out assault because you have enemies all over your case from the background to the foreground.

This looks very weird like it wants to be a mix between Contra and House of the Dead (light gun game) This concept seems like it would be better suited for something like the Wii where you use the pointer to aim and shoot and then you use the nunchuck to control the characters movement.

Once again, another Tecmo classic arrives to the Arcade Archives. If Parodius Da needs to come to the Arcade Archives, some melodies need to be changed because not all symphonies are in the public domain.
