"THE NINJA KIDS" is an action game released by TAITO in 1990.
Our ninja-doll heroes must battle to save their town from the evildoers who are plotting to resurrect a great evil.
Take control of one of 4 characters, who might look similar, but are as individual as they are colourful, and slice and dice your enemies with justice in your heart, and ninja magic at your fingertips!
The "Arcade Archives" series has faithfully reproduced many classic Arcade masterpieces.
Players can change various game settings such as game difficulty, and also reproduce the atmosphere of arcade display settings at that time. Players can also compete against each other from all over the world with their high scores.
Please enjoy the masterpiece that built a generation for video games.
The options menu and manual are available in Japanese, English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.

I still have The Ninja Kids on Taito Legends for PS2 and Xbox. The PS2 lacks 4-player multitap support but the Xbox version still had it along with Growl on Taito Legends 2

I'm sure it will. My guess is that they'll probably throw in the US Rom which removes all Satanic references and renames him as The Evil One.

Originally released in March of 1991, Taito's The Ninja Kids is a side scrolling brawler where players assume the role of 4 puppet like Ninjas on a quest to save the world from the ultimate evil known as The Satan (or "The Evil One'' in the North American rom) who is being revived by the lawless punks. Evil ninjas, and other bizarre characters such as fire elementals and buff men. The Ninja Kids runs on Taito F2 Hardware which also runs Arcade Archive alumnus such as Liquid Kids, Growl, Dino Rex, Gun Frontier and Solitary Fighter. Players can choose between: * Hanzo, who is a master of the Water Ninpo (ninja magic) elements who wields a Katana blade. * Sasuke, a master in Wind Ninpo who wields a Kusari-Gama. * Akame, a Fire Ninpo master who prefers attacking from a distance with Shuriken throwing stars. * Genta, the strong master of Earth Ninpo who wields a Sansetsukon (3 section staff). Upon choosing their ninja, the player is thrown into the heat of battle where he fights the evildoers and reaches the end of each stage with a boss battle. Along the way, the Ninjas can pick up several items such as toy vehicles for point bonuses, food to restore energy, and Ninpo scrolls which enable the Ninjas to use their Ninpo power, which is intensified with the more scrolls the player possesses. Other items allow the player to become temporarily invincible, have a protective shield that helps destroy enemies, a dash power up which allows the player to be invincible while being able to run over most enemies, and a globe that can temporarily render enemies immobile in the form of a time pause. In addition to items, player can strike some objects to trigger environmental traps which can hurt enemies and the Ninjas themselves if they're not careful.
