Davina is one our greatest and I love what she does. However this rendition to me is a complete failure, despite if her beautiful voice. The original from Duncan is more fragile and powerful at the same time. Davina tries to keep it small and it doesn’t work for me at all. The piano work is flat out annoying. What’s phenomenal about Davina is her ability to deliver a song. I used to think she might be getting a lot of production help to make her sound so good. I have listened to several live songs and I watched her live stream last Wednesday. She is a vocal phenomenon. I can’t say what the girls think of her but I imagine that every guy that watches and listens to her sing, cannot help but to fall in love with her. She’ll put a spell on you. I recommend listening to every single song that she has done. Must be over 200 of them. Even her songs in Dutch are magical too. Enjoy … I have. Thanks!

Hmmmm - Ok, I suppose I would find a song by Davina that I didn't love sooner or later - and I guess this is it - tried the original just now, and I think it appeals to me even less. So, sorry - will have to not add this to my personal Davina playlist. But still love her anyway - still plenty of Beste Zangers of and with her to see. I know a lot of calls for Eurovision on the channel - but in the UK does not have such a high reputation - ABBA notwithstanding.

Both are amazing singers. Duncan absolutely nails this song and knows how to write songs specifically for his voice and make it work really well. Davina is an absolute powerhouse with a power that makes you mesmerized. Both artists have amazing emotional songs and are technically skilled. No need to put them against each other, especially when we can hope for a collab and have a sick song with both of them😄
