Nonetheless, my first job was at a movie theater. We had this game on a MVS 1-slot Cab in our arcade. I'll never forget the father/son team playing this, both of them going "WOA, OMG" at the first boss.

I'm starting to think the Aero Fighters are the bad guys in these games. You do more damage to the cities than the "enemy forces" do. They're not attacking anyone except you... probably because you're blowing up buildings all willy-nilly...

after the ending, the game continues from first level again but with current ammo grade and bombs. the enemies are stronger though. but originally there wasn't continuation after beating the last boss. perhaps what i played was remake version.

After a second of thought it made perfect sense to me. No, these games can not be played with a mouse the way Amphok wants them to be though. He's thinking in terms of precision maneuvering the planes around quickly with the mouse. In vision, your fighter would move fast, and zig zag all over the screen, but the most that could be done to make just playing with the mouse possible is using joy2key, and having your mouse emulate a stick. You'll only move as fast as the game let's you though.

Engrish basically. It's "Fly to the rain forest", but due to mistranslation from Japanese to English sometimes the L's are replaced with R's, and vice versa
