I think Toy and Lulu are better characters because of their weapons. Toy's Laser had more consistent damage and his super weapon dealt the best damage while Lulu while lacked in term of damage, had the best range with her spread shot.

I play as Toy, then again I also like playing as Lulu because of her spread shot. Toy just has mean damage, limited spread, short range bomb. He's the opposite of angel, if only for the fact his actual attack stat is weaker, but his speed and defense are one higher than her. Very nice playing with Leon, great skill even with a powerhouse/tank. Thanks for putting up all these classic games, it brings back memories.

If there is a reboot or new series of Shock Troopers, it should come with multi-player like Unreal Championship (Death match, Capture Flag) or Counter Strike (Team based like planting bomb, rescue hostage, vip escort) or tower defense .

Resistance against Dio is not tolerated...because He`s the Man on the Silver Mountain! (R.I.P.)...but getting back to subject: I prefer the first part - even though the second part has way better graphs, I don`t like this whole Metal Slug (altough i love the MS series), Super Deformed approach. The first one was cartoonish and over the top in it`s own right. Why overdo it?

En este juego tienes q apuñalar a los enemigos y eso te da mejor score.. además las armas como el Boomerang..los misiles..etc te dan un poco de resistencia a los golpes para no morir de inmediato
