I thought i was the only one on this platform that was staying up to date on the Egret II Mini stuff. Awesome video! I got the stand for it too. It makes the Egret II Mini look like the actual cabinet in shrunken form :)

It's good to hear I'm not the only one, it's a great system I think and have enjoyed all the releases, also really like the card you get with the paddle controller I've seen the stand, it looks fantastic, if I had the space I'd have one of those definitely Thanks for watching 👍

I can see Rumba Lumber being an addictive one; a clever premise for a game. Top landing really does come across like the concord sim in krypton factor 😂; I think I’d enjoy it! Have a great Christmas mate.

I really wasn't keen when I first tried it but now I think it's great to be honest, not played anything else like it Top Landing is such a strange arcade game but I really do like it and the closest I will ever get to being on the Krypton Factor🤣 Hope you had a great Christmas mate 🎄👍

Thats a great collection selection of games in that volume ! Taito do have a lot of weird and wonderful classics that need more love, you are right Akkanvader is pure class , BTW I think you also have a charge shot by holding down the fire button if I remember correctly We both know that you will get that cyberstick eventually its fate mate take it easy mate and have a fantastic xmas.

Nice! I recently picked up the Astro City V recently on sale. Also pulled the trigger on getting the arcade stick, well worth it! I wd really also like the egret!

That Egrit thing looks really good. Loved Mr Do, got a great homebrew of that on Speccy, although I always did prefer Mr Ee on the Beeb even than the arcade Mr Do. That bird game looked right up my street, never seen it before but definitely one I could see myself getting hooked to. Not sure about that Wizbit game, man that looked boring 😄 Great vid James, got me curious about one of those tabletops. Have a great Christmas mate.

I'm a big fan of it Lee, it's a fantastic mini and has 40 games on it as standard and some real old school classics Really liking Mr Do a lot, not played the other versions except the Colecovision Rumba Lumbar I really wasn't sure about but the more I play it the more I like it, it's really rather good No, Wizbit is pretty rubbish 🤣 Definitely recommend one mate and they don't take up much space, sure you could squeeze one in🤣 Merry Christmas 🎄👍

I would've probably started hitting it mate, my temper soon takes over 😂. Huge fan of Mr do, Top landing was bonkers, not what you usually see in an arcade, although it's probably one I would play a lot. Vaguely recall playing aqua jack. I've had the Egret mini since it came out. I pop it open every year when they release these game packs and play it for a week or two and back in storage it goes. I'm hoping for a Vol 4 next year with Chase HQ

FYI The Cyberstick makes playing Top Landing, Aqua Jack and Galactic storm so much more intuitive. Same with Operation Wolf and Night Striker and some of the other games bundles with Vol 2. :)

I’m gutted I stalled on getting Vol 2. It’s nowhere to be seen now and goes for CRAZY money, literally hundreds, no lie. I’m not going to make the same mistake and get in my order for Vol3 with the matching style set. It doesn’t cost too much more with the stand. It is a great little system isn’t it. A bit of a novelty mind, but I’m happy I bought one back in the day.

I've looked at the price of vol.2, OMFG 😱 that was a shock! Glad I got that when I did, makes what I paid feel cheap🤣 They look awesome with the stand but mines up against the ceiling as it is so haven't got space sadly 😭 I think it's a fantastic system, yes it's a bit of a novelty but got some fantastic games on it and I enjoy using it Cheers Dylan, hope you have a great Christmas 🎄👍

I’m the same with Firmware updates. I hate doing them, but sometimes needs must. I did one for my RetroTink4k the other day and was nervous, but it was all good.

Fill me with dread mate, can't understand why the update isn't on the Vol.3 card itself when it's compulsory to use it anyway Thank goodness I managed to muddle through it 🤣👍

Yup I got mine just now with the style kit and sits with my other Egret II mini blue and both astro city minis. I get an error message when I turn it on so I'm guessing it needs an update? Did you get the Cyber stick? And yes the packaging is strange for sure.

Yes, I got that error message when I first tried it, think it said shut down You have to do the update before it will work Haven't ordered the Cyber Stick no, I'd really like it but it's so expensive and doesn't work with many games, if they reduced it a bit I think I'd buy it🤔👍

That pack seems a bit dissapointing, especially for the price. They are fairly expensive for what they are. That update sounds like such a faff! I'm exactly the same with that stuff, I guarantee, I'm more shockingly bad with tech stuff than you! I've avoided doing anything like that so far. 😄🤷🤦 In fact, I still haven't even cracked my egret mini out of the box yet. It's about 6 months 🙁🤷🤦😄

I really was disappointed when I first tried it but the more I played the games the more I liked it, it's definitely not a stellar collection but some good stuff on it and a couple of stinkers🤣 I genuinely thought I'd broke the console when it wouldn't work, such a pain, why on earth isn't the update on the game card when it's compulsory to do it for it to work 🤷 Really think the Egret is fantastic mate, got some fantastic games on it👍

I can imagine, mate! on the initial disappointment, and the panic of thinking you'd buggered the console up! I can see some of the games would grow on you in time, and some of those super scaler types did look pretty cool! Nice one for rolling your sleeves up and conquering the tech issue! you're a braver man than me! 😄😄👌👍🙌 On being lazy with getting consoles out of the packaging, I still haven't tried the evercade yet either 🤦 I'm gutted that the toaplan 3 collection has been delayed here for some reason? 🙁

@J0nst12 I've had loads of trouble getting Toaplan 3 aswell, I pre ordered it off Amazon weeks before it came out, they never got it to me on release, then said I was getting it last week, then cancelled the order Gutted as you can't seem to get it anywhere, wasted my time going to Game then Gunstock got it back in stock Christmas Eve so I jumped on it even though they wanted £5 delivery Hoping it arrives tomorrow 🤞

Yeah, same. preordered on Amazon ages ago. 🙁 It's pretty annoying, especially as they got Toaplan 4 out with no problems?!... I was really looking forward to the stuff on 3. I can't be bothered with the hassle of trying to track it down elsewhere and pay more. I guess I'll have to be patient on this one. It's not a problem, really, as I still have to use Limited run & Slg! 😂

@J0nst12 oh dear, you have my sympathy there, I point blank refuse to use all those type of companies but hear the stories about them😭 Toaplan 4 came no problem the same for me, they also couldn't get my Tate grip to me either and cancelled that too I would order all off Funstock but hate the fact they take your money up front, don't agree with that business practice at all
