Love it ! One of the best Arcade1Up mods. Nice height, just on question was that with a riser or without a riser? Cause if it's without a riser, if you add one it would bring it up to a perfect height.

i find that NBA JAM is one of the best basketball games of all time and everyone Luvs it in a arcade room it always has lot of value and a great 2 player game and was even better on the super Nintendo

The Marquis look great, I think if your a bigger guy and you want a lager size and different viewing angel then this is what you should do, I don't have spare time like you do to mod these systems like you do. but I would have to mod mine in the week end I guess.

That is really nice. The marquee especially, is beautiful. Personally, not an NBA jam fan, and I don't really dig the marquee sticking up off the cabinet. That said, this is really high-quality work and really impressive. I love the 3rd-party upgrades that keep popping up--A1UP community rocks!

I'm pretty sure he's already made a prototype of the lighted bezel taking and adjusting the MK Movelist I had made. I like the modularity of the whole thing and the added space on the bezel, but I just can't personally stand the marquee sitting on top of the cab.

Love it! It's gonna come down to pricing but that marquee looks extremely high quality! After updating to a larger monitor, it's hard going back to the stock 1up monitor too. Hopefully a bezel for that can be made

@3:56 it shows sides are higher than even the standard riser by about 6 inches. @3:13 it shows inside without front. Looks like brackets on the sides meshing it up?

I'll be honest, I hate the marquee placement. Looks like someone took an actual arcade marquee and glued it to the top of the cabinet. Makes the arcade looks sloppy and definitely doesn't resemble arcades I grew up with. This is just my opinion but if it doesn't fit properly into the cabinet, don't do it.

Sadly it only had a limited run, it was very cool. I think this might be Arcade1up's direction in 2023. I think we will finally start to see more riserless cabinets.

Is arcade1up still releasing an official NBA Jam cabinet? I heard rumors of it months ago. But with the recent announcement of TMNT, Marvel and Star Wars. I didnt hear any NBA Jam. That makes me think its not coming anytime soon. Its ok though. I bought the MK cabinet last week. Very pleased And i also plan on buying the TMNT cabinet in the fall. So NBA jam can wait. I need time to save money. Im hoping Turtles comes out in November. I can buy that. Then possibly NBA Jam can come out next spring/summer and ill get it👍

I wouldn't hold my breathe on an official A1U NBA Jam cab. All those players in the games are well out of the league and no longer a part of the NBPA so they're likenesses would have to be licensed individually.

Not a huge fan of how the marquee just sits on top like that. It leaves the actual top of the cab exposed-- wouldn't it make more sense to use the top piece of the cab as the bottom of the marquee and screw the side panels directly into it? That way, it would still stick out of the top, but it wouldn't look like it's completely separate from the rest of the cab. Pretty cool otherwise though!

Rastan350 I’m going to release a second video showing the build process but that’s a great question. They include a riser that’s the same dimensions as the rest of the cabinet. This give the cabinet the look of being a single unit. I will cover this in deeper detail in an upcoming video 👍🏻. Thanks for watching!
