Thanks Luke, This machine is mine that I have located at RGP's lair, so that it can be played by many people for free :) I do PCB repairs for other people, but most of the machines you see in the vids are from my own collection. Hopefully one day they will all be in an arcade museum :)

Hi Ian, There is a "stylus" that detects the position of the gun by a large number of contacts. The contact under the gun has to be lined up in the same position as the set of contacts that are on the back of the moving targets. If the gun and target contact are in the same position at the same time as the trigger is pressed then the circuit is completed and the target registers a hit. There are other ways of doing this. My Pirate Gun is similar but does use light guns and photo sensors

Do you recall a zombie themed shooter. Were you shoot tombstones.

How does it work? Is it just a matter of the timing when the trigger is pulled? Or does it use IR light emitted from the gun barrel to an IR photo diode/transistor? I'm guessing that the trigger has to be pulled at the right moment as the machine looks like it is all electro-mechanical as I could not see any electronics in the video. Just wondered mate... Ian.

How much do you think this arcade machine is worth? My friend has one in his garage and was going to sell it?

Don't you wish you still had them?

Hi. I have this exact machine now, recognised the flake pattern on the back glass and the stain on the schematic through the door. I bought it non working. Interestingly i see on your video the contact separator on the score motor on the door is missing even when you had it, meaning only the first in the stack would operate when the contacts go over the wheel cut outs. I replaced it, but have not checked the schematic to see if it was deliberate. Motor runs all the time at the moment. Must sort back glass out first, then worry about getting it working. Hoping to take it to NLP at Play Expo Blackpool in October 2021 - yea i know i don't have long to sort it. I only got t a few days ago - yikes :-)

Hello, I'm repairing one too. I have a few questions: the motor on the back door is it always running or does it step each time you pull the trigger? It seems like the coil having trouble to release it. And when do the 5 bullheads light up? I have no manual. Thanks Koen
