On the estate tax, I never got the old argument that it taxes the same money twice. It is not the money that is taxed, it us people. If I get money, I pay taxes on it. If I then give my money to someone else, say by leaving it to my daughter, my daughter has then gained money and owes taxes on it. And if she gives her money to someone else, they now gained money and owe taxes on it. Each person owes taxes on their income and other gains(like capital gains and inheritance) I don't see the problem. Admittedly I'm not a tax expert, but that is how I see it as s tax layman.
