I've always been a wrestling fan and a fan of Jim Cornette. Personal story: I'm originally from KY so I still have half of my family in KY. Cornette lives in KY. One day out of the blue my brother who still lives in KY calls me on the phone bragging about having just met Jim Cornette at a car lot called Paul Miller Ford in Lexington KY. My brother says he was nice, took a picture with him, and spoke to him for a few minutes about he and I have been wrestling fans for most our lives and how we always loved him. After speaking to Cornette my brother called me immediately to brag. While on the phone with my brother, I hear him talking in the background to someone. All of sudden I hear my brother, "It's Ryan". That's my name. 2 seconds later I hear on my phone, "Hello Ryan, this is Jim Cornette!" I immediately started marking out like child talking to John Cena would. Apparently, while talking to him, my brother explained how much he and I loved wrestling growing up and when my brother called to tell me what happened, Jim came up and asked if it was his brother who loves wrestling he was talking to and what my name was. That was the, "It's Ryan" part. He sat there and spoke to me on the phone about wrestling and political stuff for a little over 5 min. One of the absolute best experiences of my life. Cornette is the absolute best.
