@@loco_logicheimerdinger is extremely annoying to play against in the game. Not everyone enjoys playing heimerdinger or playing against… So he is that kind of guy who enjoys people hurting or annoyed.

@@loco_logic Basically, the way Heimer plays in League is similar to those Sentry/Turret type of playstyles in other games. Heimer puts down mech-turrets that help him control zones and do damage. His 2 other basic abilities have decent range + a stun, so his zone control makes him obnoxious to fight against, especially if you play Melee champions. Most champions don't rely on that type of playstyle, and it's considered "campy" so people tend to feel negatively about it. Hope this helps!

I love the mutual emotion between so many people watching these episodes at the moment the credits start rolling "gaaaah! thats how they end it?!" Arcane is masterful at stringing viewers onto the next episode. It was so hard to not binge this show.

Your excitement for this show is very contagious :) It's been months since I watched Arcane for the first time, and it blew me away. Viktor instantly became my favorite character, and it hasn't changed ever since. Episode 3 is fun favorite, which is well deserved because it's fantastic. Can't wait to see your reaction.

@@Taj_SAS what do you mean? Jayce is pretty selfless, he wants to bring magic to make life easier for everyone. The most selfish thing he probably does is sleep with mel and maybe attack the shimmer refinery with the kids. But even then his ultimate goal is to innovate hextech to make everyone's life easier. And dont try to say his time as the head of the council was selfish. Every decision he made in that position was because of the missing hex gem situation. Adding on to how there was a literal traitor in the form of the sheriff feeding him wrong informtation. He was doing what any one would have done in the same situation Also caitlyn's pretty selfless as well! She just wants to do her job and bring justice. The most selfish person in the series might be Viktor, since he just wants to live

I'm sooo glad these are coming more than once a week! Reactions/reviews to this show have been the only thing making the wait for season 2 bearable, safe to say I'm really looking forward to the next episode. Also really appreciate that one of you is knowledgable about league and the other isn't, makes for an interesting reaction.

This show is divided into three different acts: act one is the first three episodes, act two is episodes 4-6, and act three is episodes 7-9. Think of each act as a film. The first three episodes are about the origin of the characters and world-building. The sequels are episodes 4-6, and the final film is episodes 7-9. The creators wanted this to feel like a film; that's why they dropped three episodes a week instead of all of them at once. I can't wait for season 2, and I hope it's just as good or somehow better.

It was an intresting choice of the writers to have Heimerdinger being so against magic but not go into abit more why he thinks its so dangerous or atleast question him around the topic. Heimerdinger´s entire existance as a Yordle is based on magical energy and its not even known if Yordles can die atall from anything.

I think its more that he is against mages because of the past tragedies (*cough* rune wars *cough* ). not necessarily against "natural magic", but more against the cost of humans wielding arcane powers. maybe a bit of a hypocrite/magical luddite, but he does sometimes have the tendency to do that.

There's no such thing as 'good guys' or 'bad guys' in Arcane! As you're about to find out, there's only flawed protagonists and sympathetic antagonists. Your little disagreement at the end perfectly sums it up - is Vander correct to keep the peace, if it only upholds the status quo that hugely benefits Piltover and not Zaun? Enjoyable reaction though! And very cool to get a Thomas Dolby reference from such a young couple! Kudos!

Good observation about introducing more characters until now, the pacing of the show is top tier, I don't think there is another show that balances characters and plot like Arcane does, even though Episode 2 is the weakest of the season by no means it's a bad episode, it's just that all the other ones are just that good! There is a channel called Schnee that made a lot of videos talking about Arcane, there is one where he talks about the secret to Arcane's depth talking about it from a writer's perspective and I thought it was genius, he called it the great overlapping technique of Arcane.

When you said "they're maintaining the status quo" I saw the potencial for a great and rich discussion. I myself think that a status quo where everything might be relatively peaceful but people from the undercity still have to scrape together coins to get by somehow is NOT a good thing. I agree with HER to fight for a better life because how can anyone live happily in oppression and poverty and no chance of a better life? Yet on the other hand... Many will die during a fight/war. The people of piltover should get off their high horses and help in whatever way they can because DUH, they are so damn rich they can definetely share some dimes, right?? But isn't that a great mirror of our societies in real life? Show me ONE country with an actually great government and I shut up. There is probably none.
