I feel like Cait giving up her gun in this episode shows that she took Grayson's question ("What are you shooting for, young Kiraman?") from the last episode to heart. Vi is aggressive by default, and Powder shoots stuff because she feels like it, but Cait is meticulous and focussed on goals. Every time the gun comes out, Cait has a specific purpose (drive Sevika away, warn off a possible attacker, save Vi), and then she immediately puts it away. I think Grayson was just amused that a rich girl would think she needed to learn a weapon, but for Cait it made her think about violence as a tool and about what she specifically means to fix with that tool. I also like that Vi's solution to every problem until this episode has been to attack, but she opted not to attack Silco. Instead she noticed that Cait was trying to knock the wall down and she turned around and helped Cait (and Cait needed help because she already gave up her gun).

A secret: the sohw has so many lines that go deep. But not the same to an each other person. It means this line refect something from your past/ has crosst your way. For me was it Silcos charater, ruind by a brother, mastermind in the shadowas, for the greater cause be evil, but have still some feelings burried but love for Jinx is present and ... what is coming.... (i dont Spoiler)

Really? I feel quite the opposite. It seems very empty coming from someone who lives forever, or close to it. It reminds me of sayings like "every cloud has a silver lining"-those pretentious phrases often meant to uplift the speaker rather than provide real comfort to someone who is struggling. To me, it shows that his character is truly unable to be empathetic. *At least at this specific moment in the show

There was a very quick scene that shows a drawing by Ren on a piece of furniture. The drawing shows Marcus and Ren outdoors on the grass with a woman floating up above who is looking down on them. We are to infer that Ren's mother has died.

That scientist that Viktor met when he was young is the same guy who was working on shimmer with Silco at the beginning. He got burned (you might say he was "singed") in the shimmer fire that resulted from Powders monkey bomb.

@@andreascaviezel9500 *Lore/Show spoilers* Victor and Orianna are victims of the same problem, namely the chronic health issues caused by growing up in the pollution of the undercity. In both cases, Singed provided a solution. For as monstrous as Singed is, he's also monstrously good at keeping things alive; the Oxalotl, Orianna, Victor, Vander/Warwick. As for Sky, she was consumed by the Hexcore as fuel for Victor's 2nd transformation. In the 1st transformation, Victor's own body provided the fuel, and Singed's shimmer variant allowed him to survive the process. As he had run out, he tried again without it, and would have been consumed if Sky hadn't intervened.

Sky represents the Girlfriend of a drug addictet, try to stay with him damaged by his illnes and can not move out because of love. Marcus represents a abitious Cop, slowly maipulatet by the mafia and has to stay wih his burden. the little traider from ep1 represents how Vander represents a violent rebell who got a dauther and changed to a calm Caths Mum represents a women futur position who head the luck to love and marry a good partie before get in power and found some love in this brutal realety of power. (sponser Jayce for Cathlen wink wink ) i could continue for long. For ever time i watch a new Reaction (current Nr 53) i see a new storry of live which i heard in reality

In episode 5, there's a moment where Marcus is feeling sorry for himself (I know, that doesn't narrow it down much) and looks up at a kid's drawing of himself, his daughter, and a woman with the same color hair as the daughter floating in the sky above them. The most likely interpretation is that the mother died at some point.

Seeing what was happening between Silko and Jinx, I thought they were trying to create a parallel with Vi. Also, I was a bit shell-shocked because I'd misjudged the terminal nature of the show and was in a 'how dark is this show going' headspace. Season 2 is slated to wrap up the Piltover/Zaun storyline, then they will expand outward into more regions of the world of Runeterra.

Heimerdinger being ousted from the counsel was foreshadowed during the Concert scene in episode 5. Mel said "We're not here for the performance" and Jayce proceeded to wheel and deal with all the counselors *except* Heimerdinger who, symbolically, was obliviously absorbed in his own interests. That same obliviousness blinded him to the worsening plight of the undercity (of which "the lanes" is merely a part) for 200 years (ep 4. "A bicentennial!"). Did you watch the music video for Enemy, yet? Best to do so before episode 7!

(boy, I'm full of cryptic comments today) Pay very close attention to Mel's painting. It's an important key to her mindset. Also, notice that Sevika nas no warm feelings for Jinx (I wonder why?). That's, I think, an important clue to interpret a piece of advice she gives later on. Why didn't Heimendinger say he'd destroy the machine (he said he would have it destroyed - a subtle, but ominous clue, I think)? I suspect he can't do it. Add a future comment from Victor and you have an interesting scenario.

What the fight also show: Jinx is stronger than Vi. Vi lost the fight because of feelings for Powder, Jinx is still fighting till the end. Firefly are leaving Jinx is just light wonded. And Vi has a drop of Shimer, Jinx hasent (as we know jet) Powder has two personalities, representet by Mylo (Jinx) and Clager (Powder). So we have a visual representation which Personality is in Charche at the moment.

BTW, as you slowly finishing up the Arcane, I kinda want to suggest another animation if you want to further branch out into that genre. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is a different kind of show, but it is as serious and about as well written as Arcane is. A thing to consider.

I think it's just that the idea is so disturbing to think about, and that I've rewatched the show so many times, that I know all the characters better than some of my family, so I have a hard time even trying to imagine a scenario where it could be true.

@@WarpReactor His judgment is clouded by the fact he's in over 300 years old and is very cautious by nature. Just like when he told Viktor a decade was nothing, even if Viktor wasn't sick a decade for person is a long time. While he looks old and is around 314 years old now, Yordels are essentially immortal. They can be killed but they don't really age or get sick.
