I think they did a fantastic job demonstrating Noxian martial prowess. Enforcers were struggling to defeat enemies using actual guns, and Noxians just pulled up and one shotted them with spears.

The green stuff is Chemtech. Chemtech is basically a chemical technology that combines both machinery and potent chemicals to empower its users, obviously especially those, with chemtech augments, like Renni (chainsaw woman). It´s also older than Shimmer and not really as much of a drug like Shimmer is. And shield guy is a new person, Braum is an Iceborn that lives in the Freljord

Dude in the ending scene was singed, the dude who created shimmer, was working with silco in act 1, and healed jinx after her fight with ekko Chainsaw lady yes was one of the chembarons thats runs a part of the undercity and was on silco’s council, she also teamed with the cocky chembaron that tried to recruit sevika to kill silco after her son died

I can see why this season took 3 years to animate, it's absolutely mind-blowing. You could pause at any frame of this show, and it looks like it should be shown at the Louvre. Especially the funeral scene for Caitlyn’s mother. Also, her going through the cycle of grief from that is so heartbreaking.

So as far as I know, the green glow on most things refers to 'Chemtech' which was the default before Shimmer and HexTech became more prevalent over the last few in-universe years. In-game theres a bunch of characters that can get Chemtech skins which make them look like the assassins at the memorial.

refresher: the guy at the end is Singed (read like singed as in burned) he is the one who created shimmer and presumably was sought out and employed by Silco for this reason to further refine and distribute the “medicine”but before that he was Heimerdinger’s partner and mentor to Viktor for a short while during his first tests of shimmer. He’s also the one that administered it to Jinx primarily for the purpose of saving her life but also giving her hyper mobility and increased strength. Anyway that’s all we know about him at the moment it’s crazy how so many important plot points and characters are connected to him

I'm surprised yall figured out Cait only cares when things happen to her personally because it usually takes people watching straight through Act 1 to understand it, or sometimes they don't get it at all. The only reason Cait even saw what was happening in the Zaun was because she was in search of a criminal (Silco). If she never began her unsanctioned investigation, she never would've thought twice about Zaun. That isn't to say she's at fault for this-but it IS Piltovers fault. The people of Zaun have been oppressed, bullied and killed probably since Piltovers inception (about 200 years ago). It's just refreshing that yall understood that, like, 15 minutes into the first episode.

Cait’s arc in this first set of episodes from this season is simply fascinating and very well written. She’s a conditional ally; before, when Zaun had never hurt her personally, she was willing to help them, see eye-to-eye with them. Now she falls for their dehumanization by her peers, because she’s angry and hurt. She even recognizes it in herself: “I understand now how easy it is to hate them”. Still, recognizing the issue in your flawed thinking is not enough, and the attack on the memorial didn’t help. Caitlyn calling Zaunites “animals” to Ekko’s face? Unimaginable last season. Strap in, folks!

Some people feel this first act to be rushed, but here's how I personally see it... The first act in the first season went slower because it was introducing the characters, the world, and establishing the relationships within it. Since we have all of this established now, it only makes sense to go go go in this season. Besides, this is very accurate in how fast this situation would escalate. The capital of the city was blown to bits, leaving 3 councilors dead...it would be absolute chaos and things would be happening left and right. Just thought I'd say that. You can disagree with me if ya want but...honestly I won't be listening to any negative feedback, I really won't care. 💜

Absolutely true. Tbh I don't even think it's that fast. This past year so many tragedies happened, and you see online and it's like you don't even have the time to unpack all that and the next thing is happening and the next and the next and multiple crazy stuff happens and I didn't even come to terms with the first 10 things that absolutely broke me. As I see it, it wouldn't make sense for the world to slow down for the characters to have time to process.

The ARAM you talked about takes place in an actual location of the universe in the area of the world called The Freljord. It is very far north from where Arcane takes place. The snow areas are more likely to take place in some mountains near Piltover and Zaun. And the wolf is the actual same model as the Murckwolf in the Jungle of league ;)

25:00 Regarding ARAM map, it is supposed to be a bridge in Freljord (cold region), but with the arrival of Arcane’s new episodes, Riot released a new map for Aram that is the Bridge of Progress. One of the teams starts on Piltover side and the other one on Zaun’s side of the bridge. Super cool!

When you see an above view of the destroyed counselor tower (when counselor Salo is in his wheelchair and looks up to the rain coming through the destroyed ceiling), you can see a very pristine circle. The exact place Mel and Jayce would've been sitting when the rocket went in. So something is definitely going on with Mel that's she's not telling. ARAM (All Random All Mid) is a 1 lane map where people battle 5v5 with random champions. As in in champ select you get a random champion, but you get 2 rerolls if you get something you don't want or can't play. It is in the Freljord near Lissandra's palace and it's called The Howling Abyss.

enemy is such a good theme song for this show. at season 1 its for jinx, now it fits everyone. everyone is reasonable and can be understand on some scale. none of them want things that are "too much". but the shit is just too deep and no one get what they want and everyone eventually will realize that everyone else want different things. they were together because they loved each other but its not enough for them to change stand. they will betray other for themselves and what they believe in, and so does everyone else.

The Arcane team said they're only doing the two seasons in Piltover/Zaun, so I have a feeling they'll most likely go to Noxus since it's so involved in the plot. The region is also at war with Demacia and the Freljord, so there's a good chance we're going to see A LOT of the playable champs in the next instalment.

She goes by "The piltover enforcer" in the game 3- Caytlin's hextech enhanced sniper rifle making it's entrance. 4- Potentially more at the very end, but I won't spoil them with my theory! God this episode was amazing! *_Spoiler down so don't look!_* Is it just me or did Aaron think the bulky drunk enforcer is Braum? I would love it to be, but isn't Braum from Freyljord?

Season 2 is good so far. My only gripe is that it seem to be using a new format that leans more into music videos, and i dislike that. Music should compliment the story, but the way they're using it in some scenes make it the other way around, like Vi vs Jinx in 2x3. It was an important scene, but they made the entire scene into a music video more so resembling an action montage, and it kinda took some wind out of the sail, cool as it was. I hope they will change that formula, but i wouldn't bet on it, since i saw the list of songs and artists for this season.

I think theirs some recency bias in this statement, I just watched season 1 leading up to this season and theirs a moment where imagine dragons themselves are animated into the show for a performance mid way through a scene, nothing has taken me out of the show more than that, so I think If anything season 2 has just carried on the trend and imo has managed to do it in a way that doesn't take me out of the show as much

In S1 there was no formulaic use of songs that was utilized the exact same way over and over in subsequent episodes like they do in S2 so far. And when they did use songs in S1, it was almost purely to serve the scene, and not for the scene to serve the song. Can't really speak for episode 4, 5, and 6 yet as i havent watched. The clip you're referring to was odd, but also not something they kept on doing.

Season 1 it felt special, like with the Ekko episode or it was just music playing for a moment before the episode ended. And as far as recency bias goes...your not the only person to rewatch leading up to this lol

Agree, and I've actually liked the music video-esque sequences so far... except for the one that started episode 4. That was the first time watching this show where I caught myself thinking - are they doing this to save on animation? Which considering the quality of everything else is not a great takaway to have.

You all should consider checking out Pantheon very underrated incredible Sci-Fi animated series. Animation is very similar to Invincible. It have a 100 % rating on Rotten Tomatoes. I heard show is coming Netflix this month.
