Kayn doesn't have a grudge against Zed actually, he respect him too much. Some of these quotes are a what if of what would they say/think if they have to fight against each other. The relationship with Kayn is kinda shown in the Zed comic (which is in the riot universe page for free and they worked with marvel to do it). Jhin, Shen, Akali also appears there. Also Rhaast is a Darkin like Aatrox not a demon btw.

Yeah he isn't a demon but Shirma called them demons after some time they got the name Darkin but they where called demons after the war .

Kayn has two forms - commonly known as red and blue - and you need to decide the right one depending on the enemy team comp For a bit of a backstory, Kayn’s weapon is so powerful that he consistently struggles with not letting it take over himself. This is how he gets to transform into one of his two forms, which are: Rhaast or Red Kayn ShadowAssassin or Blue Kayn If you know which form to take you can fight champions accordingly. Blue orbs are obtained by fighting ranged champs while you get red ones from fighting melee champs. Once you have enough orbs, you can go back to base and transform by clicking on your champion’s icon.

So lorewise, Kayn is currently battling Rhaast for the control of his body (like what Aatrox does whenever someone picks up his blade). But in game you get these what if scenarios. One is the shadow assassin that is like Kayn succesfully banishing Rhaast with his shadow magic. And the other scenario is Rhaast taking total control of Kayn and the darkin is fully unleashed like aatrox. That's why you don't hear Rhaast in the shadow assassin nor Kayn in the Darkin form. The LoR Aatrox interactions have a lot more darkin in it. So far you've have only reacted to the videos so Idk if you'd like to add some fact-reading into the videos, but on the wiki article for the characters there are 2 sections, one is called Relations and another at the very bottom is called trivia. Those have interesting short bullet-point lists of fun facts if you are interested.

Kayn is a Noxian child that was sent to war and when he arrived he found the Zed and trained kayn to use the Shadow technique. Then one day he was on a misssion to retrieve a Darkin Scythe and that was Rhaast but Rhaast want to take over Kayn's body and so Kayn has to die but fortunately enough Kayn is powerfu enough to resist Rhaast temptation to took over his Body. So the 2 shadows of Kayn are a What if Scenario to him. If he Conquered Rhaast they he is a Full fledge one wth the Shadow order. And if Rhaast Succeed then Rhaast will took over Kayns Body and be Awakedn back to his Darkin Form again.

I am so happy to see you guys reacting to one of my favorite champions accually. But I have to say, as cool as these general voice lines are. You should defenetely check the odyssey Skin voice lines out. Which are totally insanely good, even if these are not common in lore. Little information here, in league there are different skin tiers. And the 2 highest tiers, legendaries and ultimate skins, don’t only change the look but also give comepletely new voice sets. So look out for that.

(Im dividing some comments so you guys can read more comfortably) So Kayn is like sasuke from naruto, he is this edgy guy in his early 20s with a lot of ambition but very much respect for his master and sees zed as his father figure. He still wants to surpass him tho. And he is a very strong assassin even with just intermediate shadow technique, he uses the shadows to increase the fear in his victims and is very good at that.

The interesting thing about Kayn and Rhaast is that Kayn may be the only living being that could withstand the darkin corruption for so long, so they are both trying to dominate the other. If Kayn wins he becomes the strongest shadow assassin in runeterra and surpasses zed becoming the leader of the order, or Rhaast dominates him and rise once again to spread chaos with his darkin brothers.

i recommended kayne cause i knew u would love them :P Kayn is a noxian childsoldier, noxians used them cause they thought inonians would hestitate killing children. Zed took care of him to turn him against noxus and it was also zed who send him to get the darkin weapon. Kayne became arrogant, beliving he will surpass his master and thinks zed send him to get the darkin weapon as a last test and if he withstands that test he is convinced that Zed will name him the new leader of the Order of Shadow. I know u have so much recomandations but check out "All Quotes against Kayn and Kayn Skins." its a 2min video and just if u wanna know how other champs react to kayne

so the deal with his transformation in game is if he transforms into shadow assasin as said he will become a one shotting very mobile assain, if he transforms into rhaast he will have an unmatched life steal with more resistance and will become a bruiser who is extremely good at 1v5

Others already are telling you about the 2-form mechanic Kayn has. If you ask me though I don't know a champion called "Kayn". I only pick Rhaast but because he is so strong and cool for balancing the game makes me play as a small whiny boy for the first 10 minutes. Jokes aside you should check out his Legends of Runeterra Interactions. Also if you want more of just this dynamic check out the Odyssey Trailer and Odyssey Kayn voicelines. There dynamic in that skin is even better.

Aatrox does trashtalk the other darkin in his special interaction vid. In his Skinspotlight video (the one you have been reacting to) his special interactions have been mostly skipped. His special interactions one is worth a watch there is also more context to Aatroxs lines.

Ok so as you can see, our boy doesn't like noxians very much and here is why: Kayn was born in noxus and became orphan bc of the war (orphans are very common in noxus because their parents die in the war against ionia or die because noxus is ruthless) and as every other orphan born in noxus like Riven, they are choosen to become child-soldiers and die for their nation in the war, and Kayn was a very dangerous child because he didnt have mercy even killing farmers or innocent villages. And one day zed arrived at a battlefield with everyone dead and everything destroyed, the only thing moving was a child in the ground bathed in blood and mud and aiming his weapon at zed with the remaining forces he had, zed saw a opportunity because that child's eyes were fierce and filled with hatred not towards ionia, but towards the ones that abandoned him to die in a meaningless war. So yeah, Kayn is zed's pupil and the second in command in the shadow order, he was supposed to destroy the darkin scythe in noxus on a mission that zed gave him, but kayn saw an opportunity to become stronger and wielded the scythe.
