Cait trying to hold it together and be strong for everyone, only to break the moment shes alone with Vi. Not only that, but to have her eyes closed and practically fall towards Vi, knowing without a shadow of a doubt that Vi would catch her. They are my Roman Empire yall I actually can’t-😭

This was my favorite scene in the entire episode…….. 0:12 the way Cait’s brow creases and she finally breaks down, and the way Vi’s fists are loosened slightly like she didn’t fully know if Cait wanted her comfort… before the both melt into each other 😭

Omg this scene, that hug where Cait just melts into Vi's arm is so sweet 😭💕 but I really can't blame Vi for not wanting to join them, I don't think I'd want to either especially after what they did to her parent's.. :(

Caitlyn didn't understand what she was asking Vi. It's like Vi asking Cait to join Jinx and her goons which she would (obviously) never do

Honestly, can’t say I don’t understand Vi for turning down Cait’s offer here. Of course she wants to help Caitlyn, and help most of the civilians of both sides, but the enforcers did, after all, kill her parents. When she finally does agree, and she wears that uniform and badge, I have never, EVER seen her so uncomfortable. She looks like my cat after I put a bow tie on them.

When Caitlyn fell into Vi’s arms shows how strong their bond and connection is, the trust and true feelings just fall out. But the breakup and kiss in the same episode so heartbreaking

okay so i really enjoyed psychoanalyzing these episodes and here’s some of my main points for this scene: 1) caitlyn is obviously taller than vi. so she’s always standing tall (literally and figuratively) even when her mom died so that she could take over her moms place. when she’s sees vi, someone who can relate to her sadness and be safe with, she “shrinks” into vi. in that hug, caitlyn was shorter than vi, almost showing how small she feels with her emotions. 2) though it’s so painful, i can already tell that caitlyn would end up changing for the worse. vi looks at her with empathy and sadness and support and caitlyn almost avoids eye contact like she knows that if she goes for revenge it’ll disappoint vi. i honestly thing that vi was the only thing keeping her from going rampant. that’s why the vents closed when cait talked about vi because vi was her grounding and her rock. as soon as vi did something against cait, she snapped and betrayed her. these two hurt me so much but they’re so frickin cute and so fun to analyze 😁

For hurting because she lost her mother, having the expectation of running a family empire suddenly pushed on her shoulder and coping with being in love with the person who stopped her preventing all of this (no shade towards Vi but those thoughts come naturally after a traumatizing experience)? Yeah, it's pretty annoying when characters act like human beings and not archetypes.
