Corelli is one of the main reasons why I love baroque music. His music evokes so many different complex emotions, which is not something that is often found in baroque music. Bach's technical style of music seems to be more scholarly in that regard, whereas Corelli's music almost gives the impression that some parts are freestyled. Yet, he effectively employs the balance between the intellectual and emotion that harmonises the whole ensemble. Phenomenal composer.

All the Italian baroque composers wrote music like Corelli. Italy was always the trend setter during the baroque era, and other composers still copied the Italian concerto grosso style even after the Italian composers had moved on from the Concerto grosso to the Ritornello form. For example, Johann Weissenburg from the Netherlands wrote music that was clearly inspired by Corelli. His op 7 is very nice and like Corelli. JS Bach was a German baroque composer, and he was eccentric for the time even though we are now so used to hearing his music. His music has much more dense polyphony with less song-like melodies of the Italian composers, so it's harder for a lot of people to appreciate because it requires more attention rather than having clear song like melodies and being on the easy listening side. If you like free-style music, then I suggest listening to Telemann's 33 keyboard Fantasias. They all sound completely free-styled. They have almost no regularity and contain endless musical ideas, and each movement sounds completely different. He was a German baroque composer, but he knew every style of the day. He wrote these 33 fantasias in the mixed-German style, So they include German, Italian, French, Polish, Galant, and even folk styles.

The grace, purity, balance, superb dignity of this piece has always given us a real reason for going on, in harmony with a declining world of less awareness, of essential beauty. Then there was time, grace, awareness, for peaceful life...

wow, so much work. The synchronicity. Amazing. This sounds like a prerecorded performance rather than live, incredible work. Great job guys! I couldn't just listen and work, I had to watch.
