Can you do a tutorial of how to re-project topographic data from surface to grid coordinates in PRO? I used to know several hacks that worked in 10.8, but not in Pro. Tin, XML, CAD, etc. The process of getting surface topo to show up correctly seems waaaaay too complicated and I hope wish there was more direction on how to do it in Pro. You would think they could make such a basic transformation straightforward.

I don’t do much with elevation data or raster data, but I found this - kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYTSk4t_odVol5osi=0qTrI5NWFqCv6kXZ

Thanks for this. What would the process be if the plat has no legal description or basis of bearing?
@GISChops Жыл бұрын
Good question! Is it an older plat?
@josephpryor7495 Жыл бұрын
@@GISChops brand new. I think the majority of plats I’ve seen from surveyors in my county don’t have them.

Wow, state law requires both in Utah. Does the course from the monument to the point of beginning follow a line like a section line or street centerline? You could use that bearing for a basis of bearing.

how to transform (or correct) Total Station points data to Coordinate System in Arcgis pro
@GISChops Жыл бұрын
You’ll need to know the real world coordinates for a couple of the points. Then create a world file for the drawing file.
