These guys are talented as hell, but.. I mean you have to have just started finding music if you think this is anything but a take on Polyphia EDIT: y'know what, this is polyphia is they didn't gimp the drummer, so what polyphia should have been. The second these dudes start trying to chase fashion trends though I'd jump ship if history is anything to be believed

@@drumboarder1 polyphia did not invent instrumental prog metal. this is clearly inspired more by jazz fusion than polyphia

@@gub4941 uhhh pretty sure polyphia formed prior to 125,000 BCE where the modern human species migrated from the African Continent for the second time, and, as such they birthed EVERY modern genre of music.. Might wanna do a little research bud

@benignism Жыл бұрын
This
@shucklesors Жыл бұрын
this is crazy, because they sound really nothing close to polyphia. like literally nothing, from the chord progressions, to the breakdowns, to the synth type on the keyboard. it's like "what can i absolutely randomly say about another band i like that's loosely in the same genre here and just force fit that they sound alike?" maybe more accurately, what you meant is that they make you feel a similar way. but in no way at all is one really the brother of another.
@Metalcorable Жыл бұрын
@@shucklesors i think he means the intro because the riff structure is similar to polyphia style intros ... but i agree the rest isnt even remotely close ... always hate it when people comment "sounds like periphery" on a new generic bands song because I am desperately trying to find music that actually sounds like periphery, but I haven't been able to find a single one.
@jamesclawson9243 Жыл бұрын
@@shucklesors I think it's the vocoder or whatever sound in the intro that made me think that
@prof.martinelli Жыл бұрын
@@shucklesors "loosely in the same genre" is also a personal opinion. In addition, your older brother does not need to sound like you but "they make you feel a similar way" like you said.
