I mean you have to have just started finding music if you think this is anything but a take on Polyphia EDIT: y'know what, this is polyphia is they didn't gimp the drummer, so what polyphia should have been. I honestly believe this is a new stage for you guys. No because you had JR, which is amazing, but there is something in this track that it felt different. Jazz pianist here. I like them more than Dream Theater. Clear themes, more lyrical guitarist. Good to see young people with such musical accomplishment. The have Jordan Rudess featured on a keyboard solo, but their own keyboardist has killer chops as well.

this is crazy, because they sound really nothing close to polyphia. like literally nothing, from the chord progressions, to the breakdowns, to the synth type on the keyboard. it's like "what can i absolutely randomly say about another band i like that's loosely in the same genre here and just force fit that they sound alike?" maybe more accurately, what you meant is that they make you feel a similar way. but in no way at all is one really the brother of another.
