Thank you very much. I have been looking at your install tutorials and learning a lot. A lot more than how other people install it. I like the variety of options you provide to install the operating system, so this let's me mix and match the methods. I will take options from your btrfs installs, some of this video and meld them together. I need to find your i3 videos.

Do you have an arch install guide for bios only and encrypted? I tried your hybrid encrypted tutorial and avoided the efi steps but I still encounter problems with GRUB. A response would be highly appreciated.

that's something that the config file is trying to open but it can't. delete everything you don't use and you should be fine

In i3 config try adding --no-startup-id to all exec calls that don't exit immediately such as background processes. For example: exec --no-startup-id nitrogen --restore

If i try to login in i3 I get the error: /bin/bash: Line 1: /usr/bin/X file/directory not found. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Why not to use `parted --script` for partitions? Partitioning is about 10% of every "monthly install" video. If partitions for particular install are changed you can fix 'em in vim.

dont think arch could boot on secure boot, secure boot only works on windows, which is "trusted" by the manufacturers i guess

You could turn off secure boot and try installing os-prober along with grub to use dual boot.It should automatically pickup the Windows partition.

I installed i3-gaps on a fresh arch install, but my $mod+Return key doesn't open terminal...already did multiple installations no luck. Anyone know a fix? Thanks

Try to change the terminal spawned by the keybind in the configuration file.

@@eflinux i did that, i installed alacritty changed i3 config file but didn't worked, used xev to see what return key would be, it showed PK_Enter changed the symlink to that but didn't work.

Hi can you please make a video on Arch Linux install with LUKS but using an USB key to decrypt the disk during bootup.I couldn't find a single video on KZbin which explains this.Sure there are instructions on the Arch wiki,but it's nice to get some confirmation regarding the steps.
