Good Interview and she also seems very knowledgeable about the movie business and the in-depth work involved in the same. Only her and Dhanush ( in an earlier interview ) have admitted that the Pre-Production is the Vital source on planinng while making a movie of high budgets. The insights into Financial planning are quite straightforward! She does seem to be technically sound. Pleasure watching a young producer talking about the cashflows, script selection and so on! Hope she strikes gold with Bigil! On a personal note, being an MBA aspirant, I find it easy to grasp the basics of intricate topics when explained with interest-arising topics. @@nomadd27828 Agree with you. The role is mostly foreshadowed by the primary funder (money lender) of a film. However, in her case, she happens to be the chief of production house and as well as the creative producer. This puts her and work in limelight as opposed to other fellow creative producers.

2.0 was supposed to be produced by AGS. The production house quoted 160 crores as the budget through which it can be recovered. Sad to see Lyca investing more than 300 crores and the movie didn't give the money back to producers as well as distributors

Pity this lady chose Vijay/Atli's combination to learn films and the production side, a bit of naivety , over confidence, nervousness, and clearly worried that costs have doubled from the original plans, ( 2 crores cost on data storage for a company that sold SSI to Oracle). Some people learn the hard way. B. Rangan probably was very direct and professional in pointing out the risks. , at times with a bit of sarcasm too. 180 crores = 36 or 18 or 12 or 6 or 4 or at least 2 or does somebody need a masters in wealth management to oversea a production with non professionals. 6 months of planning is sufficient OMG.... My god bless the movie. wishing it success.
