As for calling these men hungry for something to do, I can personally testify having been wonderfully supported by Sydney Anglican, GAFCON leaning people when alone camping in the blue mountains. They showed tremendous love and fellowship that got me to the next stage of my life. I saw AGAPE as well. As for rules, we know Jesus has paid the full price of our sins, but as for speaking for GOD, and male power which I have seen as loving leadership, I’ll let the scriptures do that! They are simply trying their best to follow biblical teaching and cop a lot of flack for it. It would be much easier to go the way of the mainstream. I am no-one of much significance - not a teacher like yourself, but am glad you are maybe saving someone from suicide or gnawing loneliness. UK Anglicanism does not recognise the primacy of scripture. GAFCON does. In the UK we are taught that 'Reason' and 'Tradition' are equally authoritative in determining what is and is not legitimate in the Church. For this reason we all interpret scripture differently and therefore diversity must be embraced and celebrated. Unity in the church is to be replaced by tolerance of the other. This is a radical departure from historic Christianity which is why Liberals are so keen to embrace the 'new' moves of the Spirit, rather than the deadening letter of the law. Make no mistake, Liberals have hijacked the Anglican Church and are working tirelessly to legitimise homosexuality within it. At this moment the General Synod is loaded with homosexual lobbyists who are planning to assert gay rights at the February Synod meeting and with Welby at the helm, who can doubt that they will succeed?

My thought is that if Justin Welby has to choose between losing a large part of the Anglican Communion (most of which is a long way away & doesn't affect the Abp's status in England) and losiing a small part of the CofE (but keeping the Abp's status + the approval of English society) , on balance he will keep as much as he can of the CofE even if it means losing most Anglicans overseas.

I wrote a letter to the priest at our Anglican Church in East London, SA, about four years ago. I was distraught at the way the Anglican church had veered totally off course. It is niw my h wise and u have nit found a church yo go to. Teachings and the turning against Israel by the Bishops in South Africa was the last straw. the Arch Bishop Tutu's statement about gay priests not being accepted and would not go to Heaven ..... his words were apparently.,"Then I don't want to go to that Heaven" was just another nail in the coffin for me. I do not attend church now but would do so if I could find a church that genuinely preached the WHOLE GOSPEL and not anything added or taken away from it. we truly are in end times

With less than 1% of the UK population attending regular church, Archbishop Welby is attempting to broaden the appeal of the Anglican Church, and has support from a number of Bishops who are asking for same sex couples to be allowed to marry in church , arguing that this is the Christian thing to do. There has been much theological discussion on this issue for 6 years. We are not called to broaden our appeal but to be faithful to God even if in the process we are hated, persecuted and misunderstood. Jesus taught "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake" There are some parts of scripture which need more studying than others. Sexual morality and the boundary lines are not one of them. The Bible is quite clear on this matter.

@@iainrae6159 if you look at New Testament teaching on slavery Paul quietly laid down the baton which those such as Wilberforce would later run with.( 1 Corinthians 7 vs 21). It is important to note that Paul was not called to be a social reformer but to lay down the foundations of the gospel. He had a strong sense of urgency. (the appointrd time is very short) seeing the Lord's return as imminent. Jesus said no one would know the exact time of his return ) With this sense of urgency Paul wrote to the Corinthians addressing various people groups and urged each group not to move from the life situations they were in at the time ( eg. married, single, divorced, widowed, circumsisee). But when he come to those people who were slaves he urges this group and only this group to "gain their freedom if they have opportunity" That was the ONLY group he urged to change their life situation and even went on to say that being a slave and a Christian were actually not compatible "You were bought with a price do not not become slaves of men" . He had a great sense of urgency " But what he did say on the matter of slavery was revolutionary to the point of shocking. In another place he tells slaves and thrir owners that the masters and the slaves were of equal status and Christians masters and slaves were brothers in the Lord, and should show each other mutual respect but not to take advntage of this new relationship. Such a relationship betwen slaves and their masters would have been unthinkable in those times. In the letter to Philemon when he returns Onesimus his owner to his master he tells Philemon that he (Paul) in retuning Onesimus is "sending my very heart".. "that you might have him (Onesimus) back no longer as a slave but more than that as a beloved brother: And it got worse. Paul instructed Philemon to treat Onesimus as he would himself ( Paul) "receive him as you would me" Again this would have bern unthinkable in those times. Apparently 40% of trade depended on slavery so it woyld probably have been impossible to change the system overnight. But Paul even with his strong sense of urgency taught how slaves should be treated in the immediate situation. Wilberforce and others had plenty of scriptural backing with which ti fight the cause of abolition. Forgive me but Christians are often very flimsy when it comes to fully looking into what the scriptures actually do say and very given following common assumptions. Evolution even among non Christian scientists is becoming a questionable theory.

As a British Anglican, i just have one point to make, because im not sure thats right, Rev foley said that Welby said it was the action of the Queen, the statement i heard was welby said it was the action of the State, and that he was threatened by them if he didnt do what he did, the State is not the queen, the state is the goverment, the ruling politicians.. our Royalty dont have that sort of power, to be honest, they dont have any power, they are mostly ceremonial these days. The queen was extremely religious, and would have never have agreed to this sea change in the church, if it was up to the late queen.. Due to Welby's continual refusal to accept the Truth of Holy Writ, and his continual support for what is clearly Described in the *New Testament* (Meaning it is an *Active* Command) as *Sin* and *Vile* and *Ungodly* and *Profane* (Edited, turns out I got the Old Testament and the New Testament Mixed up, for which I am truly Sorry) and an act that will *Prevent* a Person from inheriting the Kingdom of Heaven (Saint Paul the Apostle, in 1st Corinthians Chapter 6, is *very* Clear on that!) , is why I, as a Reformed Evangelical Anglican, am now looking for a Presbyterian Church instead, so long as I can find one that has also not gone down the Path of Apostasy and accepted the Doctrines of Demons promoted by the world which is and are completely opposed to God and His truth through Christ. I can only hope and pray that God sends some true Workers into the Harvest to Guide and Protect the Church of England and bring it to Repentance and back into the Light of Christ through Holy Writ (King James Authorized) to once again be Shepherds, feeding the Sheep of Christ. We have to tell those who are Homosexual, that what they do is Abomination, and will result in them being thrown into the lake of Fire unless they Repent!, then we can lead them to the Light of Christ, to His Cross at Calvery, where the Perfect begotten Son, the Lamb of God, died for what they Did, in the same way He died for what we did, So, they can be washed Clean, and Eternally Saved! by Grace alone, through Faith alone, in Christ alone, where they will Receive the Holy Ghost, who *Will* Turn them *Away* from their Sin and make them Celibate as part of their Sanctification to God's Glory. If we do not do that, if we just say "its fine", then we Fail them *Utterly* ! , and show nothing but hatred for them! because we doom them to hear the most terrifying words in all Scripture "I never knew you", Which is Horrible! and will Result in loss (as Hay and Stubble that will be burned up) at the Bema Seat of Christ on the Day of Judgement. This is not going to seem at all Loving, in fact it is harsh, but I am something of a "Fire Breathing" type, for better or worse, and it is Probably a fault.... but Welby, if he does not repent, will reveal himself through His Fruit (Ye shall know them by their fruits) to be a False Convert and *Worse* than an Unbeliever, no more Christian than Mohatmut (if I may quote George Whitefield), and given I refuse to accept him or Charles as authorities due to their Rotten Fruit, I, sadly, may well have to leave the Anglican Church of My Youth to find an actual, True, Church, that abides by the Truth of God and Holy Writ. What a Terrible, Terrible thing that has happened. I agree entirely dear Brothers, What Welby has done has not only struck to the very core of the Reformed Anglican Church, but to the very Core of Holy Writ (King James Authorised) and Bibline Church doctrine (Westminster Confession of Faith 1646) , an Offense against God Himself! what a Terrible thing he has done indeed, we can only but pray and hope that God either makes him repent, or reveals him for what he is and puts a stop to him before any more lambs are lead astray. But in my humble opinion the people in charge at the top of our church denominations have been specially selected for this hour in history. The pope is currently in Sharm-el-Sheikh with other world religious leaders, preparing to usher in the one apostate worldwide church. Apparently they've cooked up a new set of ten commandments, with the 'earth' at the centre. And there are many interpretations of the book of Revelation that assume that Babylon is the RC church. @@lizzie3094 I agree with you apart from the last few lines. It's not true that Catholics don't read the Bible. Every Sunday mass has four scripture readings - OT, Psalm, Epistle, Gospel. Then the homily brings all the readings together. The homily has to be an exposition primarily of the Gospel passage so the teachings of Jesus are emphasised, whereas in my experience Protestant churches emphasise the teachings of Paul over Jesus. The Gospels don't mention homosexuality at all so it rarely comes up in the homily. I do agree that the RC Church has been infiltrated by a gay lobby in the past 20 years or so, and Francis seems to be an atheist. He claims to be so tolerant but he's attacking Catholic traditionalists and the Latin mass, which is the part of the Church that is growing. He's closing down thriving traditional orders which attract many young priests and nuns. To me he seems anti-Catholic. He put up a statue of Luther in the Vatican and issued a Vatican stamp with Luther on it. You can watch Dr Taylor Marshall's KZbin videos if you're interested in what's going on in the RC Church right now. I assure you that many Catholics read the Bible regularly and many churches have scripture groups. But Francis' interpretations are wooly rubbish.

I'm glad Catholics read the Bible, but if that's the case I'm baffled why they call the priest 'father' when the bIble expressly tells us to call no-one father except our Father God. And also, I don't find any reference to making so much of Mary. She was a chosen vessel to bring Christ into the world, and she will always have a special place in scripture because of that, but there is no reference at all in the Bible which says we should worship her, or indeed pray to her. Jesus expressly tells us how to pray 'Our Father, who art in heaven'. Peter has been styled by Catholics as the first pope, and yet the Bible tells us he was married, and popes can't be married. These seem to me to be some fundamental truths that are being systematically ignored by the leaders, who are encouraging it in the faithful. I wholly agree with you about Francis. His Jesuit roots are why he was chosen for this time in world history. He is completely anti-catholic, and will be instrumental in drawing all other denominations - christian and others - into a one world apostate church very soon. He has already signed a joint declaration with the grand imam of al-Azhar that called for religious tolerance and dialogue. Interesting times.

It is called heresy, strange fire and apostacy. God calls believers to 'come out from amongst them'. Down the years since I was called out, I have been accused of being backslidden, yet continued to walk with the Lord and follow His leadings despite the hurt from 'church'. There is only one church that God recognises and that is His church. He never called men to religion but to repentance into a relationship living and vital, with Him. He never called us to follow men or denominations, but His Son Jesus Christ. He calls us out of the traditions of men and into His glorious kingdom. He calls us to be taught by His Spirit not the doctrines of demons. He also is seperating the sheep from the goats, the chaff from the wheat and tares and the wolves come to the fore devouring His sheep. Today, if you hear HIS voice don't turn away and shut Him out because time is almost over for the church age. The Bridegroom cometh!!

One may disagree with the orthodoxy of the CofE but that is not really the issue. The issue that if one wishes to speak on behalf of a particular church, then one cannot openly contradict the teachings of that church.
