I did find it a bit interesting she didn't seem to feel any need to also teach her kids about the other half of their history, since half of their family and ancestors are european, but that may be just the reality of being mixed race in the US. She may just feel like her kids will already learn plenty about that side of their history everywhere they go?

She is one of the few celebrities that I’ve noticed knows so much about her house or the decor in her house!!! Most celebrities say they worked closely with their designer / decorator and you can tell they just paid them a bunch of money and threw around ideas/desires and said “make it happen” but she actually WORKED CLOSELY with the designer, she probably listened when she had to and compromised where needed then ended up loving it. LOVE HER and her cool house it’s such a work of art - rare because most celebrity homes are dull with a bunch of expensive furniture abd decor

Mid-century modern is my absolute favourite design so I love this house. The black marble is a bit dark for my tastes...I like and appreciate a much brighter, lighter home, but to each her own. Umm I’m obsessed with her and her home. Literally love it, it’s a lot of stuff in the home but it’s not cluttered.. it blends together and she reminds me of my mom 😂with the chair thing by the ocean..
