I love that the new book is called supernova. I really think the charm on the bracelet will come more into play and help nova out. I just re read the prologue to renegades and it talks about how they saved a boy from falling off a bridge and its max. I was freaking out! I dont know if anyone else caught this but I was so happy

I had a theory at the end of renegades that max would use nightmares powers and they would find out they came from nova and was so disappointed when it didn’t happen in archenemies. Why would they delete that scene???! That’s HUGE!

okay so I just finished the Lunar Chronicles today (excluding Fairest and Stars Above) AND OMG I LOVE THAT SERIES SO MUCH! it’s my new all time favorite!! I’m really looking forward to reading Renegades by her because now I have become complete trash for her writing :)

THIS WAS SUCH A GOOD BOOK MARISSA MEYER IS A GENIUS! Have you heard what the third book is going to be called? Supernova! How clever is that? I'm kind of worried though because I'm pretty sure a supernova occurs when a star explodes, which (oh stars above, please let me be wrong) could foreshadow Nova's death. And as upsetting as this theory may seem, it makes sense seeing as a realistic happy ending for Nova and Adrian might be very difficult to pull off after all the secrets have b een revealed. Needless to say, I am (im)patiently aw aiting the conclusion to the Renegade series 😁

It’s such a good book! I’m dying waiting for “Supernova”!! Okay, now, my thoughts. 1. Now, that you’ve reminded me that the star helped Nova get the helmet, is the star part of the reason why book 3 is called “Supernova”??? Ahhh!!! 2. I’m so worried for Max! I started screaming when I was reading that moment. I couldn’t believe that it was happening. 3. Okay, so we know that Simon and Hugh are not good leaders of the Renegades and make horrible decisions, but can we just talk about their parental relationship with Adrian, and how they are such dads, in the way that they embarrass him about liking Nova?? I was laughing out loud at each one of those moments! Also, the moment where Simon was able to hug Max for the first time was just tears, all over. So, I definitely have more thoughts than this, but overall, I’m just super, super anxious for “Supernova” and I NEED IT NOW!!!

I haven't read Archenemies yet but I've recently read Renegades and I've really enjoyed it! Although I felt like Rengades was a bit too long and how did they not figure out Who was the Sentinel?

I think they deleted the scene bc it would have been too obvious then that nova is nightmare (especially with adrians obsession to find her), but her secret was not supposed to already be revealed.

Just read it. i really love the morally gray areas and how that's expressed. The dialogue about agent N reminded me a lot of internet censorship. When you start blocking people and deplatforming them, you take down more and more people until you become too powerful and at first you're a force for good, but there's no good place to draw the line. I related to that. Unfortunately, I also didn't care about any of the side characters and the romance, so I skipped all those scenes. I also don't think Marissa Meyers realizes what a good character Callum is.

I’m a little late to the party, I just finished this book! But I loved it so much and completely agreed with everything you said. Max getting hurt at the end almost DESTROYED me! I’m such an emotional reader so when shit like that happens I feel like it happened to ME, not the character in the book xD Hopefully he’s ok in the next one. Can’t wait for it to come out!

It's interesting that they took out that scene with max, adrian and nova playing because while reading I was thinking 'did max get a full scope of Novas powers?' Unless there's going to be a big ol' reveal later down the track? I loved this book so much it was very politically intriguing with a lot of moral questions.

Wow I am late to the party! But holy hell my heart is in pieces! Nova looks up to Ace so much and just wants him to be proud of her. I’m trying to think of reasons she would willingly turn against Ace. Maybe he’ll have had a part in Nova’s family’s death??? Maybe it’ll be as simple as Ace tries to kill Adrian and Nova jumps in front? Maybe he tries to sacrifice Nova because sacrifices have to be made sometimes in war but maybe Nova never thought he’d sacrifice her since they’re family??? This could go any direction!!!

Honestly my favourite part of this book series is the political arc of it because it’s such a parallel to the real world and how people in power are so far up their own asses they don’t see threats in life or how they refuse to admit weakness etc
