People have said this submarine is terrible because you dont habe hydro and you can get endlessly bullied and zoned by enemy submarines and DDs with your high detection and low range. I dont see what is exciting about this submarine tbh. The devs just make more rock paper cisor submarines that can only kill big ships

It is very strong you just have to adapt to the different play style. Also every sub sucks in a 1v1 against a dd if he knows your location

@@trenlass809 not when you fight a 5.6 detection sub with 9km sub surveilance and DDs with radiolocation Its range is the problem and the lack of hydro makes it particuarly vulerable

I've seen varying estimates. Only the Russians know for sure. High end has them at over 50/k. At those speeds they'd get detected from low earth orbit.

XP earnings are not really an indicator of anything, subs seem to get a lot more xp for the things they do compared to other ship classes for some reason. I mean, a DD that did those exact same things in a battle would have probably earned like 2200 xp instead of 2900.
