Nice tips! Thanks. I find I'm more stable with an open stance but more accurate with a closed stance. When open, I tend to miss left a lot.

Thanks! Glad they're helpful. Sounds like a slightly open stance would work well for you. Take a look at your alignment if you're missing left with an open stance. archery360.com/2020/08/11/what-is-alignment/

I am fat and my chest area causes the string to stop in the middle so I tried to lean forwards but I couln’t get it right and my lower back hurt I tried open stance but it ruined my shoulder alignment with the bow so can u please make a video on how to deal with such problem without compromising the alignment of the shoulders with the bow

Why do you show a closed stance (one in which the archer is at a right angle to the target)? Does this not bring the string closer to the body and leave one susceptible to string slap, wrist slap, or whatever it is called. I had thought that standing at a 45- degree angle with a proper stance and good form is more conducive to achieving a good shot. Yet maybe I'm mistaken.

String slap is usually caused by over-extending your bow holding arm, not stance.
