Just wanted to say thank uuuuuu for your channel.. you got me into compound shooting over a year ago and I have learned so much from watching you. I bought my first pse (evl 34 with SE cams) I shimed the cams over a bit and put some custom strings on it and it is really a nice bow to shoot, very fast..I'm just trying to find the low let off module so I can get off the release quicker.. but I don't find them in Germany and import can take up to 3 months .. but anyway thanks again Steven for the information and inspiration. Have a great day. Mac

Haven't shot one of these to appreciate the differences to the drive nxt,but I can say that for the money,the drive nxt is a brilliant bit of kit👍 I recently ordered two through you guys after doing much research,and at the end of the day,really couldn't justify spending almost double the amount for this bow,sweet as it looks. Either way, stoked.

This now would be the ultimate do all bow based on those specs. It’s got that sweet spot ATA for what I love in a bow. 32-34” ata is what I love to shoot.

I 1st started backup with APSE was a stinger of some sorts II earned up enough money to buy the Matthews VXR 31.5 had so much trouble out of it so I seen this bow the other day I wouldn't shot it one time I bought it instantly it is the most fantastic bow I've ever shot the PSE has me now I put 4 arrows and a half-a-dollar piece at is East at 43 yd that is a 12 ring

@gsanning2 жыл бұрын
One thing to think about with regard to Mathews with the modules as a shop owner: You can buy bows and change all of the specifications with modules that work with the last 4 or 5 years of bows. I would think that not having to carry bows with 60lb limbs, and a different bow with 70lb limbs etc. All you need is the modules. I would think that this as a shop owner would be even better, at least that is what the shop that I work with thinks. It makes what they carry much easier and fits everyone…. What do you think about that?

PSE has a bow for everyone! That bow is great for the shorter draw lengths wanting to compete and having a need for speed! Great shooting considering you pack a hodgepodge of arrows in your quiver 😆

Is this target bow or hunting bow?
@waynestevenson96133 жыл бұрын
@@greenhoodedvigilante458 it can be used for hunting or target! The shorter the draw length the better for target shooters because it’s fast! Longer draw lengths would appreciate it for both target or hunting, and really long draw lengths would appreciate the longer axle to axle for hunting by it’s inherent forgiveness!

Another thing I noticed with this bow I got it set to 28" it feels just a touch short but the shot really explodes and my follow through my hand goes flying back behind me and don't just sit there when the release breaks that's how you know that you don't have a proper folder if you're released hand breaks and it just sets there and don't go flying back you're not pulling with your back

This bow is LEGIT. I just picked up one in tan 70#(only poundage shop had avail.) Turned it down to 64# because I want to use it as a 3D backup. I run fairly light 3D arrows at 373gr. This thing is still cranking them out at 320fps at 64#! Slapped on a rest and d-loop...bulletholes first 2 shots. I have always had to shim my PSE's to the left. Not this one! You have to at least shoot this bow if you get your hands on it.

A few thoughts: draw length looked short for you. I could see you draw, then relax your bow arm to allow the bow to pull back far enough for correct anchor. You don’t normally do this, so I reckon that bow was 1/2”+ short for you. Second, the speed was terrible. 280 something with the GT velocity u speed test with is not at all good for a bow of this kind. Maybe it wasn’t making 60lb. Maybe the DL was well short? Not sure, but you’ve tested plenty of 37-40” target bows up in the mid to high 290s! The 3dhv that came in at 310 has been 320-330 on some of the bows you’ve tested, so that EVL 34 EC was well off where it should be for some reason. I think you realised it too ;) In my personal opinion, I think PSE needs to get rid of the cheap cable rod set up. It has no place on bows at this price point. Everything else about the EVL seems pretty good, except for the lack of tuning options that we see with Elite and Bowtech. The latest PSEs are actually more expensive that the Elites in many cases so the value proposition that PSE used to represent has kinda vanished, but they have also found themselves behind the competition in features, which is a reversal on 2-3 years ago on both price and features.
@jbr94333 жыл бұрын
You're right, just checking the new released Envision Video, the same arrow goes way deeper into the window (3/4" to 1") in the Elite. EVL34 speeds shall be around 10 fps faster for sure.

@liamboyle91993 жыл бұрын
The stock strings on these higher PSEs are extremely good! Live wire strings when done well (I have seen some people that weren't happy with them, but not often do I see complaints). My XL strings have been on for almost 2 years so since new and the can serving is yet to separate despite multiple half here and there. I am yet to see another string set so that.

@Buran013 жыл бұрын
Sooo... They removed the lock system in the limb pockets, removed the rack hole for the 2 piece quiver and reduced the strings from 5 to 3 and cut one inch in the total length respect to the NXT 20'... I mean, is not like is a bad bow, but the 2020 model looks better on paper and seems more expensive to produce: remember: they removed the caged riser from their models of 3 years ago. All those changes scream "cost savings", not "performance enhancements" or increases in quality.
