The cable guard is breaking on the evl. A company called TAP sells titanium cable guards .that fixes the problem.

Sold on the spot. It shoots a fast and as flat as any bow I have tried to shoot. Even thought it shot Identical to the VX3 Mathews 2021. I could not find a single difference with the two bows.

Shoot it through a chronograph! We want to see some real world speeds! Other reviews have shown this bow coming in under the rated IBO speeds. Definitely not the normal for PSE.

Looking at the system on the bow it’s a floating yoke. It cannot be “yoke tuned” due to any twists in one side will transfer to the other. It “floats”
@user-qp6dh8lp9g3 жыл бұрын
That is true, but PJ spends about two minutes talking about how this bow does not have a floating yoke, but instead uses a split buss cable to each cam allowing for yoke tuning.
@joncooper11453 жыл бұрын
That doesn't sound like you're asking a question. More like making a statement
@josephfolsom20303 жыл бұрын
@@user-qp6dh8lp9g , This is just like a Mathews or any other brand that utilizes this yoke. It’s a floating yoke. Otherwise is would be a 7 piece string and cable set. It is not a static yoke system which split off of one end of each cable giving you the ability to “yoke tune”. Just look at the bow in the video, it’s quite apparent it’s a floating yoke
@josephfolsom20303 жыл бұрын

Wrong. It’s not a floating yoke like The older models. The cables are locked into that new splitter

Turned a useless yoke system like mathews into something useable....and you don't need to get robbed by paying for spacers/top hats or taking your bow out of center shot by moving your rest like the world's most unadjustable bows. Bravo.. someone listened..

Never had to take a mathews out of center shot to tune
@Buran013 жыл бұрын
Both the Deadlock System from Bowtech and the SET System from Elite allow to tune the cams much easily. I current own a Supra Focus XL and PSE has been delivering good bows at affordable prices the last years, but until the arrival of a new 35" "Mach Air" I must say that this 2021 hes been a bit letdown from PSE: the bows are almost the same as the Evo NXT and the finish of the painting and the cnc of the riser seems cheaper, and far way from brands as Prime. Is not the only letdown tho: Mathews releasing the highly anticipatedAtlas (a ~35" ata with switchweight cams) with dl which most of archers can't use (almost 30" of minimum dl) was a cold shower...
@jasonnester95143 жыл бұрын
@@Buran01 I wasn’t happy with pse last few years they’re bows are loud and alotnof hand shock
@Buran013 жыл бұрын
@@jasonnester9514 I think that last year's Evo NXT reduced a lot the hand shock due the limbs were much more paralel than the Evoke and older bows. Anyway, I'm searching for an hybrid field compound in the 35"-36" axle to axle range and due this year the EVL is 1" shorter than last year NXT, PSE fell from my list. So far the Remedy and the Nexus 6 seems the most interesting candidates to me, but I'll probably wat to this fall to see if Mathews releases an Atlas with 29" dl or Bowtech a new BT MAX with the Deadlock cam system.
