Great sounds Thomas, it‘s cool to see the kemper features in a plug in. The last addition in the kemper was the doubler, downtuning and all the fx where already in. But this plugin is worth the money imho, will buy that too to integrate it in my cubase. Have a nice x- mas everybody

many tend to say that they are unable to get good chug sounds from petrucci's plugin here is the thing, if you want to just select your amp,messing with the knobs of the EQS that wont be enough you really need to dig it more deeply, you have to experiment with the microphones on the cabinets and more specifically you HAVE to rotate the microphones through the cab's speakers in order to get some unique sounds regardless the genre i do own this plugin for 6 months now and to my surprise i wasnt able to get good sounds on the beginning but after i found out that rotating the mics through the cab (all by myself) they do effecting the sound A LOT so yeah try to play with the mics position and thats all i can say, try to have all the knobs (including master/level) at the noon oclock and then try to rotate the mics on the cabs and thats that its easy trust me

I recently bought this Neural DSP plugin Archetype: Petrucci, and I really must say that it is by far the best I have ever tried! Including some high end pedalboards, so even with just the amps you have more than enough, you don't even need to use the pedals of the plugin. 😅

I just got the Neural DSP JP Archetype and I've been plagued first with latency and crackling/delay/popping (only way I could solve is to use the outputs on my UA Volt1 interface instead of letting output on my computer - which I would prefer, my speakers are sick and I want to play music to jam with but I can't make it work smoothly) and now I have some background buzz. Any tips for getting my tone clear like yours on the video? What's your signal path and stuff...?

Overdrive is another form of compression, so I don’t personally like to mix them. It especially kills a lot of dynamics in some of the percussive playing.

The transpose function is nice, but as you say, the guitar resonates in a different key and it really bothers me. Easier to just transpose the track if its 1-2 steps, works in any DAW and sounds way better.

the whole plugin can or may be used as post-fx in a recording situation, so you can play it in normal key, and afterwards just transpose it like the way it meant to be and you get the same result
