Archetype Gojira has a pitch shifter that can do similar things, just no steps, it's "fluid". Neural released a preset pack for clean transpose steps. With a host that can handle midi-presets etc (I'm using Cantabile Solo), you can keep your transpose steps but use it as a whammy too.

@RX120D2 жыл бұрын
Protip: Bump the sample rate higher on your session to drop the latency a bit lower. Requires more processing, but if you're getting buffer errors with still too much latency in 44.1khz or 48khz, try 96khz. This isn't a silver bullet, but I've managed to get some low latencies on some pretty shitty hardware with this trick.

Ola! Thanks for great content! As always. I've been heaving a thought for a while now. @Proghead882 жыл бұрын
I do this sometimes when I'm working on a demo and don't have a guitar next to me. It sounds much more realistic but of course, the guitar samples have to be decent too. It's pretty effective still as long as it's basic power chords and single note riffs :) At the very least you get a rough idea of what type of amp you might want to use down the road for the real recording, assuming the guitar samples are reasonably similar to the guitar you are using.
