Hello Jared. Following your work for years, it's inspiring to see how your open sharing is a labor of love and going beyond duty for ARCHICAD and the user community. #salute I always find your template very insightful, giving me a glimpse into work on your side of the planet. It's amazing how different the "same" work can be for us all. I might not be actively using your template, but I learn a lot from how you creatively apply principles to your achieve your desired outcomes. It also just goes to show just how amazing ARCHICAD is, being that versatile to allow all of us to achieve many great things with it. Take your great, eye opening section on the pens for example: For the first time I actually see how very different (worlds apart) the OOTB USA (and your template) pen sets are to the International version (and mine for that matter). wOW! I did not pick this up before, thanks. I like how by principle, in this 23 version, you align your pen locations closer to the OOTB pens. I fully agree with that. Doing so absolutely makes work much simpler, gives you more control and saves you a lot of time getting your final prints the way you want or need them to be. A topic I did my very first blog on in September 2011 on my older MultiCad website. This is a key principle ARCHICAD has maintained since "forever" and users gain a lot from making the most of it. Your brave venture into GDL is commendable. It's an ARCHICAD superpower many of us are "fearful" of. Nice work Jared, looking forward to see more...

Amazing stuff Jared, thanks for sharing... BTW your GDL shower fixtures look awesome!! I'd love to see more of how you put those together!

Thanks. The GDL code is pretty simple so you should open the objects and take a look at what i did. It's basically all CYLIND, ROT, and ADD. At some point I'll have the confidence to do some videos on GDL, hopefully.

Patrick, that's amazing. I'd love to see some of your work, if you don't mind sharing. Send me an email. Comments like yours are one of the main reasons I share the template! I love that my work is helping you excel at school. Thanks for making my day.

@PriyankVlogs @Shoegnome Architects Hey I had some spare time this afternoon, so I quickly merged the 23.1 template to INT, added the missing Favorites from the US library to the embeded lib, and adjusted the a few things, like Scales on the view map. I haven't touched the complex profiles/Composites. drive.google.com/open?id=11a1qIgR_wp1OhmWpWPZzckrW4B9bZtc1

Hey Jared, thanks a lot for your efforts. It thought me a lot when creating a new template for our office. I'm wondering if you can point to any good GDL learning videos to get started with custom object creation.

Sadly I don't know of any videos out there. If I have time I've been telling myself I'll do some basic ones. If you haven't already, download the GDL Cookbook. That's the best place to start.

Shoegnome Architects GDL videos from you would be very sweet! Will look into GDL cookbook in the meanwhile 👍🏽
