In 48 hours Archie Smith went from having the best day of his life, celebrating his engagement with his three brothers by his side, to the worst day of his life after losing his brother, Sebastian, to suicide. Sebastian was just 21.
Archie says Sebastian had struggled with mental health challenges in his late teens, particularly in his transition from high school into adulthood. The loss of his brother left Archie devastated and facing his own mental, physical and emotional battles as he navigated his grief.
This World Suicide Prevention Day, Archie shares his story to raise awareness about handling grief after losing a loved one to suicide, and the strength in putting up your hand and seeking help.
