Norm Foster's firm has created some memorable struucture but with little or no concern for cost or longterm overall energy usage. He has proposed several 'grand' schemes for utopian cities and buildings most notibly for nationalist dictators and speculative developers. Some would refer to him as a would be 'ambulance chaser' as in the case of Ukraine and Soviet puppet countries. He is an advocate for good design but at what cost?

yes & no. "more energy" per person is not moving evolutionarily forward ... bucky said it best "nature evolves by doing same but with less energy" now, think about that ... too easy to just say more energy i must agree on the earlier point tho thru destruction comes new ... as in natural wildfires businesses shld self-impose change personal to break relationships etc maybe ...:-)
