To be honest I prefer the older setup with the symmetry created when the desk was against the wall with shelves on either side, but that cubby really is very functional and looks great!

Mine did. When did you get your desk? Also, it wouldn’t be hard to pre-drill some pilot holes so it’s easy to screw it in. I actually wasn’t expecting it to be pre-drilled.

Works well. No issue at all. I think there are monitors with excessive curvature, so stay away from those for work.

I like the new setup as much as your last one. But I see you have an office feel with this new setup with the cubbies wall behind you. One common theme with many home office setup I have watched is the use of walnut with their furniture pieces and accessories. It seems like everyone is going with that tone. At one point I was thinking of incorporating some walnut color element in my WFH set up but now I have a second thought. Last but not least, no Revit in your practice? Still in autocad? We need to chat.

Thank you!! 🙏🏾 Haha. I used revit before in a previous company. Then when I switched, it was all autocad+sketchup. So I adopted that for now. Cheaper for me right now and I’m not losing any efficiency. I actually was wanting to transition to archicad. 😂

@@JonImperial I see. Revit can get pretty expensive with all the necessary plug in and stuff. Archicad could be a better choice still if you plan on keeping your practice to a small numbers. It's still not a widely used software in US so collaboration with others can be a challenge.
