Everytime i listen to Architects' music i feel kinda depressed and in the same time motivated. That's mostly because most of their lyrical content describes perfectly the core of many problems or questions the youth has.Music is perspective.Stand up and say a big fuck you,do it your way, stop compromising.Do it like Sam,scream don't cry.Architects managed to unite us as a family. We may be strangers with each other, but the vibes we feel are,for all,the same.

"stop compromising" its fun to say stuff like that, but most would never touch it. its hard, you end up burning most of the bridges you build, you estrange friends and family, you don't end up in one place very often, money isn't always certain.. and sure, there are exceptions, but this is the reality we all face. the pressure of society to conform, to carry out the lifelong task of draining one's soul, the processes of becoming cancer on a larger scale is real, but its everywhere and in near everyone... not becoming that thing, in a world where its everywhere, is not easy at all. and the 'value' will be understood by no one as the only 'reward' comes from within. and one either understands this or is oblivious and there is no real way to convey it..

NerdFapRage Tom was basically the mind behind Architects. He founded the band in 2004, with his twin brother Dan, after several name changes they became 'Architects'. He wrote most of the lyrics and composed most of the songs. Unfortunately, he passed away on August of 2016, at the age of 28. He is a legend!!! This band is miles above the other bands in this genre. Everything just flows together so well. Architects doesn't copy other bands and try to blend in. They stand out by creating their own sound. And frankly, their sound is fucking monstrous. They have the perfect mix of everything you would want in a metal song. Meaningful lyrics, breakdowns, (unique) clean vocals, great guitar riffs, fantastic drumming. And most of all beautiful atmosphere. I love how melodic they are but yet they are also heavy. Fuck this band is just unreal

Just let go Gravity, hold on to me So come and wash us away Just thank fuck that we don't last forever It's now or never Is this the catalyst? Just let me burn the bridge That leads me nowhere Because it's gone and it's never coming back But make no mistake It's just a matter of time before the wave breaks So stand your ground The earth will shake So twist the knife, 'cause I am finally awake So come and wash us away Just thank fuck that we don't last forever It's now or never Is this the catalyst? Just let me burn the bridge That leads me nowhere Because it's gone and it's never coming back I've heard it all before Aren't you tired of all of the violence inside of you? Just let go Well, what are you waiting for? Aren't you tired of all of the violence inside of you? I'm so proud to have been at this concert and in this video. It is still one of the highlights of my life.
