Everytime i listen to Architects' music i feel kinda depressed and in the same time motivated. That's mostly because most of their lyrical content describes perfectly the core of many problems or questions the youth has.Music is perspective.Stand up and say a big fuck you,do it your way, stop compromising.Do it like Sam,scream don't cry.Architects managed to unite us as a family. We may be strangers with each other, but the vibes we feel are,for all,the same.

"stop compromising" its fun to say stuff like that, but most would never touch it. its hard, you end up burning most of the bridges you build, you estrange friends and family, you don't end up in one place very often, money isn't always certain.. and sure, there are exceptions, but this is the reality we all face. the pressure of society to conform, to carry out the lifelong task of draining one's soul, the processes of becoming cancer on a larger scale is real, but its everywhere and in near everyone... not becoming that thing, in a world where its everywhere, is not easy at all. and the 'value' will be understood by no one as the only 'reward' comes from within. and one either understands this or is oblivious and there is no real way to convey it..

NerdFapRage Tom was basically the mind behind Architects. He founded the band in 2004, with his twin brother Dan, after several name changes they became 'Architects'. He wrote most of the lyrics and composed most of the songs. Unfortunately, he passed away on August of 2016, at the age of 28. He is a legend!!! Created one of the greatest bands this world has ever seen, wrote incredible songs and inspired (and will continue inspiring) so many people!

This band is miles above the other bands in this genre. Everything just flows together so well. Architects doesn't copy other bands and try to blend in. They stand out by creating their own sound. And frankly, their sound is fucking monstrous. They have the perfect mix of everything you would want in a metal song. Meaningful lyrics, breakdowns, (unique) clean vocals, great guitar riffs, fantastic drumming. And most of all beautiful atmosphere. I love how melodic they are but yet they are also heavy. Fuck this band is just unreal

Lyrics: This is a wake-up call No rise without the fall Facing the great divide You can run but you can't hide You can run but you can't hide I met the Devil and God and couldn't tell them apart I thought I found the end But it was only the start I've heard it all before Aren't you tired of all of the violence inside of you? Just let go Gravity, hold on to me So come and wash us away Just thank fuck that we don't last forever It's now or never Is this the catalyst? Just let me burn the bridge That leads me nowhere Because it's gone and it's never coming back But make no mistake It's just a matter of time before the wave breaks So stand your ground The earth will shake So twist the knife, 'cause I am finally awake So come and wash us away Just thank fuck that we don't last forever It's now or never Is this the catalyst? Just let me burn the bridge That leads me nowhere Because it's gone and it's never coming back I've heard it all before Aren't you tired of all of the violence inside of you? Just let go Well, what are you waiting for? Aren't you tired of all of the violence inside of you? It's all you know Gravity, hold on to me So stand your ground The earth will shake So twist the knife, 'cause I am finally awake

I'm so proud to have been at this concert and in this video. It is still one of the highlights of my life. I took a friend who's not typically a fan of metalcore, and even he was in awe of Architects, and how Sam sings. Those were the times that I look back to now and feel comfort. I just dyed my hair pink and felt like I finally belonged somewhere. I miss that year. I went to their show in Wembley after that, and I plan to go to any show that I can in the future, for this is truly a band that I believe in, and a group of people - including Tom - that I stand behind.

I have just found my new favorite song...I was unprepared for the emotional response I experienced listening to the part where he said "I've met the devil and God, and couldn't tell them apart..." pure genius, speaks to my spiritual journey on so many levels. Also, the haunting instrumentation behind the guitars, drums and vocals...and the masterful guitar work, this truly is art.

Amazing stuff. Tom is watching over us all right now, beaming. And even though Tom is irreplaceable, Josh is a wonderful guitarist to continue the memory of Tom.

Only just recently started listening to these guys and I can honestly say that I have listened to this type of music for a while, and I am very happy to have found these guys. I was starting to lose faith in this type of music, sure the bands that are still around are still active but none of them seem to have the one special thing they had to get me to love this music. I listen to only a few of these songs and it honestly felt like it used to, I can feel the fire in my chest burn as much as it did when I first fell in love with this wide genre so thank you architects for reigniting the fire in my chest and making me fall in love with this music again.
