@Shivansh Agrawal Hello, Very good question. I personally say the Studio x360 is a better option than the other two because it's meant for Architects mainly. If you go for the higher-end options, they have Quadro GPUs which are built mainly for architecture programs. It is also a Mobile workstation 2-in-1 Option, which makes it better for serious work, and for heavier tasks. It's built to be sold to companies, and last a very long time without having issues so companies don't always come back for repairs. And workstation laptops almost always last longer than the normal laptops, and are usually built with more upgradability, and higher quality. The ZBook x2, and the Precision 5530 are definitely good laptops, however as an architect using heavy demanding tasks, you will definitely benefit from having fully supported Graphics cards like the Quadros. The Zbook x2 is very thin, and won't have upgradability, and the you will pay more to get the same specs you would on the Studio x360 The precision 5530 is another very thin option, it is very good if you want extra portability, however it will be at the expense of having a Quadro GPU. And thin laptops usually don't stay cool as good as the beefier ones which have bigger fans and better cooling. The precision 5530 Uses WX Vega MGL which is pretty good, however if you look on autocad's certified graphics cards, it is not one of them. So if you ever have any problems with AutoCAD and you contact them for support, as soon as they see your graphics card is incompatible with their list of verified graphics cards they will stop helping you and blame the graphics card. I know having a thinner laptop will look much better aesthetically, and will be much easier to carry around. But there is a reason they sell the beefier ones to most companies. They are Military-grade tested and will last you a lifetime. And you will usually have very good support and won't have to worry about any overheating issues. Thin laptops are usually hard to upgrade, due to the lack of space left in the laptop. I hope I was of any assistance. The laptops you mentioned are definitely amazing laptops, But the studio is built better for an Architect. When rendering or handling big projects you want something that doesn't overheat, and that won't down throttle your cpu due to lack of a powerful battery, or overheating. I tried answering your question as best as possible. I am more than happy to help if you need anything else :) Good luck, and have a nice day

@@sunnyyasin6775 Hello there Sunny Yasin! If you could provide me with as much detail as possible that would really help me find you the best option! What country are you from? That way i can find you the correct links and products. What is your budget range? Do you intend on working on big projects? and being really active with maya? Or just for smaller projects that you would do in university? Like do you intend on using it as a hobby? or just as a learning tool? Specs will vary heavily between if you just wanna do small projects, and if you want it to handle bigger projects! So yea. Where? Budget? What size projects? Awaiting your response! Have a nice day!

@LuigisProductReviews 4 жыл бұрын
Hello Shannen Cabellero! I'd Highly recommend that you get a laptop that supports the newest AMD Ryzen 7 4800H or the Intel I7-1075. Cpus are pretty important when it comes to an architecture laptop, and will definitely give you a boost in rendering speed, and panning through 3D models. Although these gaming laptops won't have a quadro GPU, but at this budget I would recommend them. So yeah. Try get the Latest Asus TUF with a Ryzen 7 4800H The AMD Ryzen 7 4800H Is faster than both the I7-9750 and the I7-1075. If you have any other questions don't hesitate. Here is my recommendation. ASUS TUF A15 Gaming and Entertainment Laptop (AMD Ryzen 7 4800H 8-Core, 16GB RAM, 512GB PCIe SSD, NVIDIA GTX 1660 Ti, 15.6" Full HD (1920x1080), WiFi, Bluetooth, Webcam, Win 10 Pro) with USB Hu amzn.to/3dS7MqB amzn.to/2zrObP0 Or you could also go with the ROG Zephyrus amzn.to/2Yvtf2a If you can bump your price up and get this one. Its hella worth it MSI GL65 Leopard 10SFK-062 15.6" FHD 144Hz 3ms Thin Bezel Gaming Laptop Intel Core i7-10750H RTX2070 16GB 512GB NVMe SSD Win 10 amzn.to/2Uyivyu Although it uses the I7-1075 But the GPU is much faster than the GTX 1660 It uses the RTX 2070 which is known to be Way way faster than the GTX 1660, and if i were you, I'd go for this one. But if your budget doesn't allow the Asus Tuf and Zephyrus are both great options. Good luck! If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask. Have a nice day!

Hi! Great video :) I was planning to get the Microsoft Surface Book 3 after it’s released in 2 weeks time here in the UK and wanted to see your opinion on that. I’m an Interior Architecture student about to go into my second year of uni in September where we’ll need laptops for Autodesk, SketchUp, Rhino, Revit, etc. This will become my main workstation and will replace my MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid-2014) which I have been using since my early years of high school and is in definite need of an upgrade. I was at first planning to upgrade to one of the newer versions of the MacBook Pro but decided against it as I’ve heard it will be more difficult to run with the softwares we’ll need. With the MSB3, I was planning to get Intel Core i7 32GB with either 512GB or 1TB, I haven’t decided yet. I’m also having a tough time choosing between the 13.5 inch or the 15 inch version. I would stick to the 13.5 inch for better transportation and putting it in my backpack when I’m on the go as it’s more student friendly, but then 15 inch is better for user experience as a larger space is better for the renders we’ll have to do. I’m planning to use this laptop for many years til I think it’s ever need for a replacement upgrade. Hope to hear your opinion. Thanks.

Luigi's Product Reviews Hello! After more research, I decided that I might go for the Dell XPS 15 9500 instead with 32GB RAM 1TB SSD. I loved the look and versatility of the surface book but the price didn’t seem justifiable compared to other more powerful laptops with a lower price. I was thinking of the ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo too at one point but the bulkiness and short battery life of it put me off. The XPS seemed like a good in between of the MSB3 and the Zenbook to suit my needs. As I said this will be my main workstation to use for uni and everyday use. I’ll also use it for photo and video editing, and some very light gaming with League of Legends and The Sims 4. Hope to hear your opinion! Thank you very much.

@@francesgloria4283 Hello Frances Gloria! Ahhh. You see you need to make sure you get a Dedicated GPU Too. If the XPS Laptop you are looking at doesn't have a dedicated Gpu I would highly recommend you go for an Asus Zenbook Pro with a Quadro graphics card. But if it were me? Id go for the Asus Pro ART Laptop. Very modern, sleek looking laptop, And has the newest RTX Quadro Graphics cards, and it's performance is hard to beat for architects. But just make sure you don't only look at the RAM + CPU and forget the GPU. A Dedicated Gpu is important. And at your budget, I would highly recommend a good Quadro Graphics card, and even an RTX Quadro graphics card if you can, which you can find in the MSI Creator laptop, or in the Asus Pro ART It will be Godlike too for Video editing/ photo editing/ and Any games. It is a misconception that Quadros don't work with games. They work great. So you could still easily play your favorite games. But it will be better suited for creative work. and will be much more stable. Thus you won't lose any valuable progress in projects. If you still have any questions don't hesitate to ask me. But it's preferred that you seperate the questions, Then I can answer each one seperately, rather than trying to bunch all the answers together xD Another Great option is the Newest XPS 15 9500 that Features an I7-10875H Which is Extremely powerful and comes close to the performance of an I9. The only downside with that would be a GTX 1650, But that is still not 2 shabby, and you would get a beast of a CPU. But personally I would still prefer to get a Laptop with a Quadro RTX Graphics card. Like the ASUS Pro Art or the MSI Creator. Here are links to great options worth considering. MSI WS65 9Tk-688 15.6" Thin and Light Mobile Workstation, Intel Core i7-9750H, NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000, 32GB, 512G NVMe SSD, Win10 Pro amzn.to/3dYQkRa Lenovo ThinkPad P73 20QR000NUS 17.3" Mobile Workstation - 1920 x 1080 - Core i7 i7-9850H - 16 GB RAM - 512 GB SSD - Glossy Black - Windows 10 Pro 64-bit - NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 with 6 GB - in-pl amzn.to/2B1EHKu ( THIS one has a GREAT price. But it is a little bulky ) However it has a Great cpu and an RTX Quadro 3000 Then u got this Beast with an I9-9800H MSI WS65 9TK-687 15.6" FHD Thin and Light Mobile Workstation Intel Core i9-9880H Quadro RTX 3000 32GB 1T Nvme SSD Win10 Pro TPM2.0 TB3 Fingerprint amzn.to/30zDGV2 And finally My preferred option which would be the Asus Pro Art amzn.to/2BYH3ul CUK ASUS ProArt StudioBook Pro 17 Business Notebook (Intel Core i7-9750H, NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000 6GB, 64GB RAM, 2TB NVMe SSD, 17" WUXGA, Windows 10 Professional) Mobile Workstation Laptop Computer Please Note I don't know your exact budget range, But Im just suggesting options for you with multiple ranges so you can pick the best option that suits your needs. But these laptops will all easily outperform the Gtx 1650 at creative tasks which comes with the XPS 15 9500 I hope this was helpful. Good luck! Have a nice day!

What do you think about the Dell XPS 15 10th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-10750H. Graphics card: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1650 Ti 4GB GDDR6
@LuigisProductReviews
@LuigisProductReviews 4 жыл бұрын
Hello Fatima Romo! Although the Dell XPS 15 is a highly recommended laptop and is very good, And this one you are showing me also has a 10th Generation Cpu which is the newest out in 2020. However, Please know that the GTX 1650Ti Isn't officially supported by the most common architecture software like AutoCad 3Ds Max, Maya, Solid works All these Softwares and programs prefer that you use a Quadro Graphics card laptop. A laptop with a quadro graphics card is usually built specifically for Architecture and other creative Use. However, Other then that, Yes the laptop you mentioned is good and will easily handle medium sized projects without any issues. But the fact it is not fully supported could potentially be an issue if it doesn't run well and crashes. Having an officially supported graphics card means If you run into any issues the Software company would fix your issues, and will try their best to help you. It also means Increased stability, and enhanced performance, And less likely Crashing. If you still have any questions don't hesitate to ask them. Good luck! Have a nice day!

@LuigisProductReviews
@LuigisProductReviews 4 жыл бұрын
Hello. It depends on your budget to be honest. If you can, Always try and go for a workstation laptop. But if you are really interested in gaming too, and want a 144hz monitor then I feel you. A gaming laptop would definitely work, But a Workstation laptop would probably give you better longevity, and is built better to handle Architecture software. Workstation laptops use Quadro / Amd firepro graphics cards, These offer substantially higher Stability, and less failure rates. They are also built to handle rendering for hours without issues. If you are going to go for a Gaming laptop, My recommendation would be to try get a gaming laptop with the Newest Ryzen 7 4800H This cpu is the fastest CPU By far in this budget range. It easily beats the Intel I7-9750H and it also beats the Intel I7-1075H It is a beast of a CPU. Here is a laptop that currently supports it. ASUS TUF Gaming A15 Gaming Laptop, 15.6” 144Hz Full HD IPS-Type, AMD Ryzen 7 4800H, GeForce RTX 2060, 16GB DDR4, 1TB PCIe SSD, 90WHr Battery, RGB Backlit KB, Windows 10 Home, TUF506IV-AS76 amzn.to/2yCfEx0 And if by any chance you don't like that laptop for some reason. ( If you don't like the yellow color don't worry, It is rgb, not yellow) Then you will want to go for an I7-1075H Laptop MSI GP65 Leopard 10SEK-048 15.6" 144Hz 3ms Gaming Laptop Intel Core i7-10750H RTX 2060 16GB 512GB NVMe SSD Win10 VR Ready amzn.to/36w5A5h But I would highly recommend the Ryzen 7 4800H As it beats the Intel in almost every benchmark If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask! These CPUS I mentioned have been released in the last 2 months, And they will offer you with the best future proof performance. Good luck! Have a nice day!

@@AnaDMTL Okay. So Il do some research now and il try find the best laptop under your budget. As for the Difference in the letters its not That important. The most important part in the CPU Name is the 1st number i7-(8)750 1st number tells u Generation number So this is an 8th generation Processor. Then u have the 2nd 3 numbers I7-8(750) This number is like The TIER of the processor. The higher it is, usually the better it is. Okay. As for the Letters H Stands for High-Performance U Stands of Ultra-Low Power U Processors will usually have better battery life, while H Performance will usually have better performance. This Is not completely true however because there are many many variables The best way to compare CPUs is to check out this website. cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-8750H-vs-Intel-Core-i7-8550U/m470418vsm320742 It gives you Simple and Easy to understand metrics for a CPU. Another good option if you are looking for a good processor for Autodesk, rhino, and the adobe programs, Is look at their Recommended Specs. No one knows whats best for the program better than the manufacturers themselves. However, Even the recommendations are usually pretty vague. The best option is to Compare all CPUS on CPU User benchmark website of all the potential laptops in your price range. Also MAKE sure to put in the equation how much ram each laptop has, and most importantly the Graphics card. 1400$ Is a little harder to find a good quadro graphics card built-in but il try my best to find you the best option for your budget. Il try check out your options and il send you another reply.

Hello there. Thats also a Gaming laptop. So as I mentioned to others it could be risky if you get a laptop with a normal gpu that is not officially supported by the architecture software. You may run into bugs, and many other issues. But if you don't have a high enough budget for a good workstation laptop then a Gaming laptop will yield better results, as long as you aren't unlucky and run into bugs. I don't know if you have read other comments of people's questions but i suggested many laptops around $1800 other than the ones mentioned in the video. If you would like suggestions of a good workstation, Tell me what country you are from ( Amazon UK, EU, US , CA, etc) so I can find what is available for you and il try find you the best options. So What is your budget? What country do you live in? What do you intend on using it for? Are you an upcoming architecture student? I’m a Multipotentialite and so I do everything from 3D Modeling, video/photo editing, as Pro Gaming, business and Ethical Hacking. So the laptop should easily handle large-scale computations and graphics-intensive applications while gaming performance is also great as (gaming laptops).

@LuigisProductReviews

Hello there. As for the specs, Yes it has amazing specs which are definitely good enough for architecture The only problem about it is most programs Like AutoCAD Don't officially support the consumer-based graphics cards. ( Gtx 1060,1070,1080) And they don't officially support (RTX 2060, RTX 2070 RTX 2080). They are built to work with Quadro Graphics cards, or AMD's Graphics cards that are specific to architecture programs. The Quadro GPUs offer certified drivers, which are optimized for stability and performance in professional applications (CAD, DCC, medical, prospection, and visualizing applications). The performance in these areas is therefore much better compared to corresponding consumer GPUs. So If you had any problems with your architecture programs, You won't be officially supported. So if you contact their support team, they will just dismiss you because you don't Have the officially certified GPU. That said, Many people use normal graphics cards and get along fine. The RTX 2070 Is a very strong graphics card and will definitely be enough for architecture applications. The only Scary thing is, If you are unlucky you will have problems with architecture programs. IF you do decide to go for the RTX 2070 GPU, Make sure to download NVIDIA's Studio drivers. And download the CUDA Drivers from NVIDIA Which will add extra support for many programs. Don't just download the normal NVIDIA driver. Search google for NVIDIA GPU Drivers, Go to NVIDIA's website. Select your GPU, And then Select Nvidia STUDIO Driver, Instead of the Normal driver. Installing the Studio driver will ensure better compatibility and less problems. However, If you care about Architecture More than games, i suggest you go for the Asus ZBook G5, or the Asus PRO Art with an RTX Quadro Graphics card. Quadro graphics cards will offer much more stability, and are better at handling Lots of cores, working at their full potential for long times, as what happens when you Render long projects. Workstation laptops are preferred to gaming laptops. This Asus Pro ART Laptop features the newest RTX Quadro graphics cards. amzn.to/2OimVH0 Here is Another Safest option in my opinion. amzn.to/2S6CeDK It features a Quadro P2000 and 32GB of Ram And the CPU Is Near perfectly identical to the I7-9750H That you mentioned in the alienware laptop. As its an I7-8(8)50H The specs of both these laptops will serve you better as an architect. With the Alien laptop you are paying a lot for the Name of the brand, for the styling of the laptop, and for the 240 HZ Screen too. Here are another 2 good options for your budget amzn.to/2Uf3QZS And this one has the best specs for the price amzn.to/2S1Q9dW I7-9850H (Better than the alienware one you mentioned) RTX 3000 Quadro 16GB RAM So to be completely honest, the better option as an architect is any of the ones i mentioned rather than a Gaming laptop. I love gaming and have nothing against it, but its just not built for Architectural programs. And you can search for youtube videos of people playing games on Quadro graphics cards, IT definitely works. So if you like gaming you can still play games on the laptops i mentioned easily. But if your priority is your Architecture side, then invest in one of these workstation laptops if you want the future-proof no problem, no hassle option. Because you will definitely get problems in the future with a gaming gpu rather than a quadro. So on the safer side stick with these. I hope my answer helped and wasn't overwhelming. If you need anything else please don't hesitate to ask. Good luck! Have a nice day :)!

How was MacBook Pro 16inch for Architecture use ? It is a right choice
@LuigisProductReviews
@LuigisProductReviews 4 жыл бұрын
Hello! Im sorry Fantin Alb. But I wouldn't recommend going for the Macbook Pro 16 Inch for Architecture use. Apple laptops aren't officially supported by most architecture programs, and you'll have to download a Simulator type program, to be able to run these Programs. Many people find themselves having problems when using engineer/ architecture type programs on Macbooks. I hope my answer was useful. good luck! Have a nice day! Here is a Quick answer I found on Reddit by someone too and his opinion. Longtime Mac user/Win user and longtime AutoCAD user. Also an owner of a civil engineering firm. Honest opinion. As the owner, do not bring a Mac into the environment. Autodesk has not certified any version of AutoCAD - full or LT - since 2016. It's impossible to get support for any AutoCAD Mac app newer than 2016. Autodesk supports the Win versions 2017/18/19/20. Autodesk does not support BootCamp. Autodesk does not support any of the GPUs/CPUs in any of the newer Macs (since 2016, mobile or desktop). My company has several Macs in service, none have AutoCAD apps installed due mostly to zero support options and no certified systems. I suspect, but don't know, that Autodesk's support for AutoCAD apps stopped when - in late 2016 - Apple stopped supporting NVIDIA altogether. The preferred GPU in our PCs is a Quadro - poring through Autodesk's recommended GPUs for their latest versions of LT and AutoCAD offer dozens of Quadro configurations, with only a few Radeon Pro or AMD variants. I will not approve a request for a Mac if AutoCAD or LT are the target app to be used. "Cost" of the Mac means nothing to me in this regard, IMO Macs are not optimal for AutoCAD or LT (and Revit). We do use Macs with VectorWorks, and prefer Macs for use with Nemetschek products - offered only to indicate that my bias here is related to AutoCAD & LT. Another reason for using a Win PC - desktop or mobile - is that Win machines have dual or triple disk configurations. Since 2004, our Win PCs that use Autodesk and GIS apps have 3 drives - the main drive (OS/apps), the scratch disk (for both the relevant apps and the OS), and the project disk. If you insist on using a Mac, at least budget for two fast external drives for scratch and project disks (unless your new company requires you to use their LAN as the project "disk"). My only reservation here is what Autodesk is going to do with the official "2020" versions hitting the market in 3-4 weeks and their purported support for Metal that they alluded to at WWDC, but I'm not holding my breath. Good luck! So yeah, overall. No I don't think its a good idea, However the Macbook pro 16 Is definitely a great laptop nontheless. But just not well suited for AutoCad programs, and many other architecture programs. Good luck! Have a nice day!

@LuigisProductReviews
@LuigisProductReviews 4 жыл бұрын
Hello there Audrey White! I'm sorry but I wouldn't honestly recommend the Surface book 3 for archtiecture. The reason being is you don't get a Quadro graphics card. If you have a high budget like 2k$ You would really benefit from going with an option like the Asus ProART if you don't like bulky laptops. ASUS ProArt StudioBook Pro 17 Mobile Workstation, 17” WUXGA NanoEdge Bezel, Intel Core i7-9750H, 16GB DDR4, 1TB PCIe SSD, Quadro RTX 3000, Windows 10 Pro, W700G3T-XH77, Turquoise Gray amzn.to/2UOnSdo Another great option would be MSI WS65 9Tk-688 15.6" Thin and Light Mobile Workstation, Intel Core i7-9750H, NVIDIA Quadro RTX 3000, 32GB, 512G NVMe SSD, Win10 Pro amzn.to/2BaNJFd Otherwise if you don't really care about getting a quadro graphics card and are comfortable with getting a normal graphics card, I would still recommend you go with something like the MSI Creator P65 amzn.to/2N4nSBG This laptop will give you higher specs for the same price of the Microsoft surface book 3 Ofc the pros of the Microsoft surface book 3 is gonnna be a detachable touch screen, so if thats something you'r really into it is probably the best Touch screen option out there to be honest, and if thats what you want then you should go for it. But it won't be as good as going for a Quadro RTX 3000 Graphics card built specifically for Architecture / engineering / creative type purposes. And you also won't get as high specs as you could get with other brands with the same price. That said, I still belive the Microsoft surface book 3 is a high quality laptop, and is worth the money. But personally I would rather get more specs for my money. If you want a touch screen you can always buy a standalone touch drawing pad which will usually be as accurate if not more accurate than the microsoft surfacebook 3 screen. Good luck! If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask. Have a nice day!

If you could give me more details on how you would like to use the laptop I could help you more. However, Im guessing you will be using it for Architecture software, as a student studying architecture. Would I recommend it? No. Would it work for small projects? Yes Will it Give you the Best performance for your budget? No Will it give you Extra cool features that are definitely worth it like a touch screen? Yes Is the Surface Laptop 2 Fully supported by Autocad? No, It doesn't use a Quadro or AMD Fire pro Graphics card. Will you have problems and bugs with your architecture software if you use this laptop? Maybe, Depends on your luck. It depends on how much you value you having a Touch screen with a stylus pen over stronger specs. You could still go for the ZBook G5 Studio x360 and you will get a Touch screen with a Quadro GPU which would be better suited for architecture software Good luck Have a nice day!

So if in the future you notice your laptop RAM is always at 100% Usage or something you can easily upgrade the ram to something like 16GBs But for now? I think You should be good to go! @@LamNguyen-xf4yw Hello. Initially when I was reading the specs I was surprised it Didn't have an SSD. But I didn't think much about it, and thought you may have forgotten to mention it. An SSD Would definitely make the system boot up much faster, and would make applications run faster. Usually HDDs are there just to give you extra storage these days. These days you would have like 256GBs of SSD, and an Extra 1 GB of HDD It's pretty annoying that it doesn't have an SSD. But i think Maybe it does but it's not listed? I haven't seen the model number of the laptop or the listing to find that out. However, In the end, A HDD Will give you a slower overall experience, and turning on the computer, or accessing software or programs may be slower than a laptop with an SSD. But all that said, It shouldn't affect anything performance-wise. But I find it quite weird that a Laptop with an 8th Generation CPU doesn't have an SSD. If it was me buying the laptop, I would definitely cancel the order and try find one with an SSD. SSDs give a Speed boost to everything, and will make everything load up faster, and will make transferring files faster. HDDs are also prone to breaking if you drop the laptop or something, because they consist of a Disk that usually spins at 7200 RPM. That is a Potential Failure point. I don't know if you have ordered it Online or not. If so Could you send me a link of the product? Sometimes it will also be called NVME SSD Or sometimes they may use something called NVME Flash storage Good luck my friend. Im sorry you are going through troubles, but If It was me buying the laptop, and was paying around 1k $ Or more, I would definitely want an SSD With the laptop. And I would even be willing to pay a little more for it. It will make a big difference in the general feel of how speedy things are on the laptop. Have a nice day!

Would the hp zbook studio 15" g5 x360 be good for 2d animation? Or is the Spectre 15" x360 be better?
@LuigisProductReviews
@LuigisProductReviews 4 жыл бұрын
Hello there! Spec-wise The HP Zbook 15" G5 x360 will be better, for a laptop built for more intensive use and for more longevity. However. To be honest, I don't think for 2d animation you really need the perks of a workstation laptop too much. 2d animation is not as Hardware savvy as most architectural 3D Programs or 3D animation. If you were into 3D animation and stuff, Definitely go for the HP Zbook 15" G5 x360. For 2D Animation, I would personally choose the Spectres 15" x360 thanks to the light weight of it, And because for 2D animation it doesn't require too much processing. Usually, you would go for the Studio G5 over the normal version if you wanted to do intensive CPU and GPU software that will be pushing your CPU and GPU to their limits. With 2D Animation that is not a concern, The normal Spectre will easily eat that up for breakfast. Good luck! If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask. Have a nice day!

@LuigisProductReviews
@LuigisProductReviews 4 жыл бұрын
@@sabrinathomas9241 If you are thinking about doing some minimum gaming too make sure to get a laptop with a dedicated GPU. The preferred dedicated GPUs in 2020 would be any of the following: GTX 1050 GTX 1050TI GTX 1060 Gtx 1650 Gtx 1660TI RTX 2060 However, If the games you play don't really require beastly specs Intel's dedicated graphics should do the job. Going for a 10th Generation intel Processor will give you the best graphics performance for games without actually having a Dedicated graphics card To know what a 10th generation processor is The 1st 2 digits will be 10 as an example Intel I7-10510U or I7-1060G7 There are many others. But the first number indicates the generation of the CPU a 9th Generation cpu would be as follows I7-9750 The 10th Generation CPUs use Intel IRIS Graphics Plus This is much better than previous CPUs Built in processors So you two options would be. A laptop with a dedicated GPU or A laptop with a 10th Generation cpu As for the Asus Zenbook 15 It has a Very cool Touchpad Screen technology However, It doesn't have a Touch Screen Only the touchpad is a touch screen And because a touchpad is typically small, it wouldn't be too convenient for drawing on for more complex 2d animation. However, if you will only be drawing simple things it would probably do the job. But Personally, I would go for a Full touch screen if I cared about the Drawing feature. Otherwise the laptop is a Beast of a device, and Asus always build solid products that don't seem to have problems. If I didn't care too much about the Drawing feature I would probably go with it. It would be a matter of aesthetics as both options are solid laptops. Good luck! I hope you have a nice day :)!

Asus Zenbook 433 is good for architecture?

Hello there. Im afraid not my friend. The Asus Zenbook 433 has Two versions One with an Intel i5-8265U And another one with an Intel i7-8565U However, Sadly neither of them have a Dedicated GPU. For most architecture projects having a Dedicated GPU is highly needed. You won't get by with Intel HD graphics with Architecture programs. I mean sure, It could work. @@blenderguy3250 Okay, Ive been doing some searching. If you can push your budget a little bit then this is probably your best option. amzn.to/36zXTcA Lenovo ThinkPad P53 This is a Workstation latpop. And it has a very new cpu. A 9th Generation Intel I7-9750h The GPU Is a Quadro T1000 GPU. The Quadro GPUs offer certified drivers, which are optimized for stability and performance in professional applications (CAD, DCC, medical, prospection, and visualizing applications). The performance in these areas is therefore much better compared to corresponding consumer GPUs. I Highly recommend you stay away from Ultra thin laptops for Architecture software, They wont cope up. So thats ur first option. If you can't push your budget here are some other options. amzn.to/2S32BtZ Another P53, with an 8th Gen i7-8565U CPU and Quadro P520 Then, If you want to take a Risk, The best specs you will get for the price are on a Gaming laptop. The only risk is, Gaming GPUS aren't made for Architects, And aren't 100% supported by Architecture programs. If you want the 100% guranteed option that won't give you any problems go for the ones i mentioned. If you feel like taking a risk go for this option. amzn.to/3aSpnh3 It offers an NVIDIA GTX 1650 and a 9th gen I7-9750h Overall, the best option would be to stick to a workstation laptop with a Quadro gpu. One of the first two i mentioned. If you Really need a light-weight laptop with a slim design you have to push your budget up more for the Asus Proart. Or a Slim laptop with a decent GPU. But overall i don't recommend it. Thin laptops don't cool very well at all. When they can't cool the laptop properly, They down throttle the CPU. That hurts performance emmensly. How does the xps 15 sound? Should i get it for cad or light 3d editing, because i render using my pc

Hello there. The XPS 15 is Definitely a Great laptop. If you will be rendering using your pc, and will only be doing light 3d editing then it should work out fine. Do you mind telling me what your budget and country is, so i could make sure there isn't a better option for you? And if you do go for the XPS 15 make sure to go with the one with a Dedicated graphics card, or make sure to go with a 10th Gen I7. For small projects you should surely be able to get along, as long as you don't run into issues because of using Incompatible graphics. However. In my opinion An option you should definitely consider is the Dell precision 15 Dell Precision 5540 Core i7 16GB 512GB SSD Quadro T2000 15.6" Win10 Pro Mobile Workstation with I7-9850H amzn.to/2u7XX64 amzn.to/2HBI0Za Renewed option It is essentially almost Identical to the XPS 15 Yet it rocks a Quadro T2000 Graphics card. And the CPU is an I7-9850H Rather than an I7-9750H Definitely Check it out. You won't regret it. That way you can be 100% sure that everything will work fine and you will also be able to do some rendering on it too, which will save you a lot of hassle. You will also appreciate the extra punch from the GPU And CPU it offers. The main worry with a consumer laptop, is having Compatibility issues with the Graphics hardware. the Gpu is not only used for rendering. It is also used for working with models too. I hope I helped you out. If you have any other questions feel free. Have a nice day!

Generally, The Microsoft Surface laptop 3 is not recommended for architects who intend on Heavy usage and big projects. You will need stronger specs, and better cooling. Slim laptops for architects tend to overheat and down throttle when rendering projects. Another thing is: The GPU that comes with the Microsoft Surface laptop 3 is not intended for Architects, and for other studio programs. You will need an Officially supported graphics card from this list for optimum performance. To ensure everything works smoothly and you have no issues Make sure to get something with a GPU that is included in this list. knowledge.autodesk.com/certified-graphics-hardware These are fully supported and work best with Architectural software. Acer nitro 7 for autocad??
@LuigisProductReviews
@LuigisProductReviews 4 жыл бұрын
Hello!! The Acer Nitro has pretty good specs for the price. But. If you really care about AutoCad I think the Acer Nitro 7 wont do the job in the long run. The acer nitro 7 also doesnt have the best build and design out there, I would recommend the Dell g3 over it. But price wise? ye the nitro will give you lowest price, But my personal opinion is that it will also give u lowest quality. You should really consider saving up for a good workstation laptop. But. If you can't you will probably want to take a gamble and go for a budget gaming laptop. The ones I would recommend now are the Hp Pavillion Gaming laptop or the Dell G3 These are the best budget gaming laptops in my opinion. If you can go up to $1000 that would be great. There is a new laptop from Asus with a Ryzen 7 4800H Which easily beats the I7-9750H Cpu, and It comes with a GTX 1660TI + 16 GB Ram + 512GB SSD. I would definitely recommend you try and save for it, thanks to the powerful CPU On it. and Great overall price. amzn.to/2VEqbPG Good luck! If you have any extra questions don't hesitate

What about zephyrus G14
@LuigisProductReviews
@LuigisProductReviews 4 жыл бұрын
The Zephyrus G14 is a Great gaming laptop. But as I mentioned in the video. Gaming laptops aren't best for architects, and aren't fully supported by most programs. It is recommended for architects to go for a Quadro Graphics card or AMD Fire pro graphics card. These are studio graphics cards and are intended for use with these types of programs. They handle higher loads better, and prolonged high load use, and they have more cores which is required for architecture / engineering program. The architecture of the GPU Is also built towards handling the Processes used in AutoCAD / solidworks / etc... Better. Gaming laptops are also very good for the price and will give you better specs than a Stylish slim laptop. But. If you want to be playing games too, You could definitely go for a gaming laptop. But it goes back to your priorities. Is your number 1 priority your careeer? Get a workstation laptop. You can still play games on it. Is your number 1 priority gaming? Get a gaming laptop. Many people use gaming laptops with no problems, But i can't fully recommend them to you as they are not officially supported by the manufacturers of the Engineering and architecture software like AutoCAD. Google AutoCAD Compatible graphics cards, You will see what I mean. And they know how their software works better than I or you. If it were me I'd stick to a good workstation laptop. Unless gaming is a priority. Good luck! Have a nice day! Don't hesitate to ask if you have any other questions.

@@vipul1553 At the $1200 Budget a gaming laptop will probably give you the best performance to be honest. If you went up to 1600 then a Workstation laptop could become a better option. This is an amazing option. It uses Nvidia’s RTX Quadro Graphics cards, and a 9th Generation Xeon processor. If price is not a problem this is definitely one of the best out there, and will easily beat most laptops on this list. However to get the one with a quadro rtx 5000 it will cost you around 6k+. If price is not a liability This is probably one of the best options you can get. It is also very convenient and has a slim design. Id highly recommend it. However, its rather expensive for most stuents, but, its still an epic choice. It will definitely give you amazing performance thanks to the Quadro rtx 5000 Thanks for your suggestion! Have a nice day!

Is asus zephyrus gx501 suitable for architecture?
@LuigisProductReviews
@LuigisProductReviews 4 жыл бұрын
Hello there. The Asus Zephyrus gx501 is definitely a great gaming laptop with great specs. As I have mentioned before. The only problem with gaming laptops is they are not fully supported by most architecture software out there. they use GTX or RTX Graphics cards which are not fully compatible with Most architecture software. They are built for games. They have fast cores. Meanwhile, Quadro graphics cards are built for architects and are built for workstations. They have more cores, but a little slower. But architecture software usually need more Cores, not faster cores. The verdict is. Gaming graphics cards give you extremely good performance for the price you pay. But the only downside is they are not fully supported by architecture software, so you may be unlucky and get a bunch of errors and problems and crashes, and no one will help you. If you contact Support they won't help you, they will just disregard you because your graphics card is not compatible with their software. Google Auto CAD Supported graphics cards You will get a list of fully supported graphics cards from AutoCad and almost all other architecture software. You can take a risk and go for a gaming laptop, but the better option will be a workstation laptop. My recommendation will be the Asus Pro Art if you want a high-end option, and make sure to check my anwers to others comments as I have mentioned really good options for a budget of around 1800$ which someone was asking about. If you decide to go for a gaming laptop it's a game of luck. Either you get everything working perfectly and you have no problems what so ever. Or, you will have many problems and will regret not getting a workstation laptop. IT is clearly recommended by architecture software to use certain graphics cards, and if I were you I would definitely listen to the People who made the programs. They know better how their programs work. If you have any more questions don't hesitate to ask. Have a nice day!
