Palestinian outlet Shehab Agency shared archival footage featuring Dr Adnan al-Bursh from al-Shifa Hospital, dating back to November 2023. The video shows doctors operating under difficult conditions without electricity, anaesthesia, or oxygen machines during the second month of the Israeli war on Gaza.
In the video, the Palestinian surgeon, reportedly killed by torture while in Israeli custody, appeared on the verge of tears as he declared they would stay "steadfast despite the pain." He ended his video by affirming that he was "in the greatest place in the world: steadfast Gaza."
