WPIX (NYC) Commercial Breaks (Early Feb. 1989)

From an airing of the 1981 film "Body Heat", here are the commercials. Keep an eye out for some late-period Crazy Eddie in here.
I'm not positive, but I think this aired late Saturday, February 4, 1989 (either that, or Saturday, January 28th).

WPIX (TV-Pixxx!), WNEW (now WNYW, Fox Station) and WOR were the best growing up in the 80s. I do miss the era of independent stations. They were warm, fuzzy and comfortable spots on the dial.

Wow! A Crazy Eddie as from early 1989, one of the last of the Crazy Eddie commercials before it went out of business, but sadly, he died over the weekend at 68. His name was Eddie Antar and he will be missed. RIP 😞

The man in the ad wasn't Eddie Antar. It's New York DJ and actor Jerry Carroll, who a lot of people thought was the actual Crazy Eddie.

I was in my 20s and early 30s in the 80s I was 24 back then in Feb of 1981 born In April of 1956 loved the commercials of the 60s 70s 80s 90s and 2000s some of today s too of this decade too !! The 80s were a fun time for commercials all the classics decades really !!
