@@julsd6009 its really hard man, same here. a few tricks I've used even though I still sometimes have the same issue: 1. Don't always play your song while looking at the arrangement. It kind of takes away from the song and makes it feel more like a science project than a song. Open up a youtrube video of like a dj set somewhere and watch that on mute with your song playing in the background and imagine its being played. Then judge it based off the feeling you get from that instead. 2. Just commit when a sound is 70% what you want and move on. You can always go back and change it later. But at least this way you're more likely to finish the arrangement and you'll find that you might not even have to go back and change it again since it always sounds wayyyy better in the context of a full song! 3. This is maybe the most important, music listeners DO NOT AND NEVER WILL hear your song the same way as a producer will. All they care about is "does it make me feel something or not?" So try not to be so hypocritical on micro-adjustments because honestly, listeners don't hear that crap anyways! Have a non-producer friend take a listen and tell you if it's good! Also, for inspiration, go listen to the Beatport Top 10, some of those songs are so damn basic and have no microadjustments and perfection in them at all, so that's always a nice reality check to know that you don't need to obsess and your song is probably good enough as it is.

When I look at producers like Jonas Aden, I sometimes don't even understand how they do it! Just twenty-five minutes turned out such a cool drop, and I can sit for more than an hour, but it is not a fact that something similar will come out!
